Completing the side-quest for "On the Wings of Love" Event does not give anything. I can't remember the order, but it just ends so anti-climactic, lol...I guess I was expecting a chest of sheers like the most recent events provided. Bummers.

Everytime I walk away from my computer or close it I make a save! I have come to notice that these resets have something to do with loosing internet connection. Or at least it seems that way. If my computer falls asleep, it drops internet connection, and therefore stops saving the game. GRR! So then when it goes to load, it never finished the script, so errors out and loads to level 1. I'm not a coder, just tech savvy, so not sure exactly how accurate I am about the scripts, but there is obviously something in the coding that doesn't get completed that is causing the resets.

I can not, in all honesty say what causes this reset, not being of the tech savvy generous. Your observations may well be right. In my case, the planets in my world may not be in sync, I do not know. My computer use and experience is only a few years old. I'm of the old school and fountain pen generation. I'm just glad I'm able to back-up and restore when needed.

To the people I send/receive gifts from, I finished the event a few days ago (as written in big coloured letters in my sig) and have no use for, and cannot send, shears from my main account. All of my supports can send them. If you want shears, please don't send hoping I'll read your mind, PM me (not tag me in here) so I have a record and can look back if I read it and don't get a chance to take notes. I have 100 gifts to send a day so I can't remember everything . When you pm me, it's also nice to read what you will send in return (to my MAIN acc) or suggest. There's plenty to choose from in my sig.

I can't believe how many people ASK for stuff and then send crap in return because they can't be bothered reading a sig. it's a two way street I spend 1-2 hrs a day gifting and receiving a (for example) powerful radio transmitter is a little annoying . I'm almost at the point when I receive rubbish, no returns go back... almost. . We all make mistakes and misclicks, I know

Anyway, I have potentially 60 sets of shears I can send, just not from my main acc. PM if you want some.

Edit: I'm not implying any of the regular posters in here do it to me, it's quite rare, but very frustrating. Vent over .

It wasn't you, it was from a forum reader that does it consistently. And I've asked him to be more vigilant. I get mistakes, I do them too . I've also been guilty of sending items and not checking signs for a few days

If you go into the settings area you can prevent the network adaptor from going to sleep, also try setting a longer period before the computer goes to sleep. Google it (Just looked and this was the first site that came up).

No idea what happened, didn't change anything and still haven't got the update. Strange things happens in the game

I think GI is having server issues. First I woke to no gifts (what a strange feeling!), then I noticed I was missing my spaceship launch. A bit later, the launch and gifts were there - thank you lovely neighbours - but I can't "Take" them. Ah well, the gardening will have to wait.

The game and I are not the best friends for the moment. Don't get the update and was now sending my gifts but it doesn't work anymore and also accepting the gifts isn't going. Will close my game and try again later on because now it's no fun to play.

Hope that the gifts I've already send are coming through.
