Thank you @Kesh and @Cosmic Blue for the Age of Ash and Santa's Bad Mood badges.

I am doing the event and would appreciate shears. I'm colour-coding everyone so hopefully won't send shears where they are not wanted. Was very disappointed yesterday - only got 1 flower from two sets of neighbour visits (had put off visits on the preceding day) and the gifted shears. But today I seem to have found a sweet spot in my field and things are looking up - got 5 flowers from the gifted shears.

I used a bonus but can't remember it's name . But it looks like this View attachment 5710 and is active for One Day. I think I purchased it from Duke's store for 8000 coins.

You may have received your Sky Captain as a gift from GI - I think it was an Xmas or New Years gift or maybe during Santa's Bad Mood event. I still have mine but don't think I will use it as I am flying for the 15 available stars so will have the event open for a while.

Thanks for all the received gifts, mine are also out.
Still can't send event items since my game didn't update, tried to look at the store but this also doesn't seem to work. So I'm losing days and a smaller chance to complete then

So now that I have been critical of this game, I will address a couple things I like from the update.
1) I like that in moving an item, double-clicking it will also rotate it now.
2) I like the scroll speed when clicking through received gifts, etc. It's very quick now.
3) The speed of the coins leaving the screen does seem to be slightly quicker, or at least they are going behind the buildings available to click more, causing the whole clicking process to be quicker.
4) I have not had a pop-up in 24hrs. Now whether this means they are gone, I do not know, but I definitely don't miss them.
5) Probably best yet, they actually gave Windows users the full time for the event. I still have 15 days on my windows, but 11 days on android. So proud of them for not shorting us!

Edit: 6) When adding/deleting a road, just double clicking will delete/add it.

All good points! Another one I noticed - if you have S1 or S2 planes along with regular planes, you can now pick which plane to send to a destination. I don't recall if it gave you that choice prior to this update.

Didn't notice this. Thanks for the info. Is that the down arrow icon to the top left of the airplane picture? I was afraid to click it, lol.

Yes - it would be the little arrow. I was so proud of myself for noticing this, then in reading the forum, I noticed @Kesh had posted it about 1 1/2 hours ago.

@Vivke - When you have the gifting room, no rush, could you send me 4-Laser Rangefinders? I'm sorry that I don't have any of your building requirements but I could send Pruning Shears if you want to stock up before you get the event - the drop rates are terrible so you will need a lot. Or I could send fuel or blankets, etc.

To anyone with a L8 Terminal - I've upgraded my Terminal to L8 so I now have Floor Washers to gift. My signature is up to date.

YEAHHHH! ME!!! Finally got all 4 games gifts out, despite glitches, hiccups, the National State of Affairs, (oops, that was a dream I was president of the US).
I menaced, yeah okay, meant state of my own personal affairs/health.

New feature I discovered that is a plus.
7) When canceling the fuel station, it now asks you to confirm as you will loose coins. (This was a problem as sometimes in my double-click fumble I would start and stop the fuel station.)

What is this, as I noticed it submerges at the end of the pier. Is ocean life that fascinating that close to shore?

Not sure what happened. Another GI glitch, I guess. I used to have a dog that looked like that. What's weird is that I took "shear" off my game name yesterday.

I think the oddity is the avatar. That Vivke and I both had the same avatar, which should have been just the generic airport dude picture. The name change is not a big deal, it showed up on my 2nd game immediately after I changed it. But I don't know where the dog picture came from.
