Got the dreaded my game reset to level 55 following Windows update .

Fortunately, I backed up the game last night (using the LocalState technique that some people find controversial) so have reinstalled but have lost all progress made today. Hopefully, will be able to resume normal play soon.

EDIT - should I have contacted support to get the original game restored? I do have the screenshots?

I haven't had to use the technique for a while, but went through a phase of needing it and haven't bothered contacting GI. Not had any repercussions. At the moment I am doing the local state save, and also creating a daily restore point which is the other suggested technique, and then will decide which to use when it happens again. Welcome back, and it is still such a shame we can't connect.

Whoop whoop - all event tasks complete - what a way to end the week. Not going to hit complete yet as want to get to the next star for each aircraft type whilst the destinations are available though. Does anyone know what we get for this event?

Did you have to use any power-ups to complete 5 Sack of Mail collections?
It seems the only problem in this Mail quest is lack of Knives, isn't it? I get just 9 or 10 from 12 neighbors daily.

No, just luck I think. Whilst pushing the quest I only clicked on lost mail, and used as much fuel as I could to fly to event locations and then land and fly again as often as I could - seemed to work.

Nice to see that some of you already completed the event. I'm nog getting much further with it, keep on trying but dropping is very poor and knifes are hard to get.

I visited neighbors this morning (was pleased w/how many knives I got!) came back to my city and my duty free is gone! Its see through and says I need cash counters and smoke detectors to get it running again! Help!!

Instead of fuel or duty free can you guys and gals send me: cash counters, smoke detectors, pos terminals and glass display cases. I want enough so if the game does this to me again I'm ready!!

I see you have new items in your signature. I have found it quite difficult to find neighbours who can gift the various antenna needed for the level 3 Mission Control Centre.
This is because once you have built it, those gifts disappear.
I will send you 4 X Offset Gregorian Antenna unless you say different. My MCC will be completed in 6 days when this antenna will drop off my gift list !!
