hi guys my urgent needs Stapler, Flight Catering, Spare Propeller, Fuel Hose
Hello Scott,Hi Everyone - I have yet another random question...
I've added a bunch of new neighbors since I've discovered this forum and the rewards have been huge on multiple levels - pun intended...
My neighborhood now has 77 neighbors and I have 8 others asking to be my neighbor. To my knowledge they're just random peeps from outside this forum. My question to the veterans is do you limit the size of your neighborhood at all? I guess the more the merrier and the fact that you've added me in a lot of cases sorta answers my question, but it does seem to complicate visits and gift giving. Do you ever weed out neighbors if they seem inactive or don't visit or exchange gifts?
Scott
Hello Scott,
In my case I keep as many neighbors as I can for visiting purposes. If I rotate who I visit I seem to get more items then if I go to the same 12 people...
As for gifting, I have 88 neighbors that I actively trade with. I have to rotate the 20 everyday, it makes me sad when I can't give to people daily, but there are so many of us here.
3 helmets to you OK also beginning tomorrow.3 Crucibles for 3 Helmets, not necessarily every day !!
I do my best to keep my needs list current, and listed in order of greatest need. thanks.Sent today. Anything in particular you'd like from me in the future?
@Aero Aereola - This is another one of those decisions you have to base on what's best for you, and your gameplay. Obviously, before finding this forum, all of us accepted neighbors left and right simply to have people to visit and collect things from, get ideas for our own airports / cities, etc.
Then of course, it was also nice to get gifts...Whatever they turned out to be. You never know what you're going to get (Unless you put it into your profile) from non forum members. Now granted, I had some pretty good non forum members, who actually gifted things I ended up using at some point in time or another, even if I didn't need it at the time they sent it.
Some forum members on here have 300 neighbors (Or did). Some people join the forum, play for a while, then leave. Others just disappear. Same with non forum members. Who, and how many neighbors is similar to how you go about gifting. There is no right, or wrong way. It's what works for you.
Food for thought about non forum members though. You have no communication with them. Once you're a neighbor with someone, you can join their launches, and vice versa. Now, since you have no communication, whoever is your neighbor is subject to doing anything they feel like if they join your launch.
Meaning, they can hijack it (Take over your launch, whether it's a regular, or a QL, etc.). Even if you delete a neighbor (Non forum member or forum member), they may be gone from your neighbor list, but you are still on theirs. You can't join their launches, but they can still join yours. You can't visit them, but they can visit you, etc.
Good luck, and may the force be with you...
Thanks @WAMike I already received the router I will return it to you. See if it's router you receive. I also have loader and monitor (in Diego account).
Strange Things Happening at Harcourt City !!
Yesterday I reached the 400,000 needed to upgrade my Mission Control Centre. After I had finished congratulating myself, I sat down looking forward to less hectic game playing for the six days it takes to construct. When I logged on this morning my screen was dominated by a great big ! and the ghostly outline of the level 3 MCC. So now I have to accumulate 200000 to build the Red Launcher. (Prepares to go back into hectic mode)
All Gifts have been sent and thanks for all those received. I now have enough Additional Radars and have changed my gamename to Harco-DutyFree.
Apologies to @Kris (Turion), @KenDuckySmith (!KB), @WAMike (Mike) and @Captain WH Rollins , I ran out of gifts and you are first on the list for tomorrow.
I now have 4 Post Offices if you need to visit. I actually got a Scooter this morning when collecting the coins. (I only build them because they are good little earners !)
Regards
Harcourt
