I am the same, after 14 days of playing I still only have one of the Let it Snow collection. It is almost impossible to do without using bonuses that I don't have. So given up and moving on to regular flights that use reasonable amounts of fuel.

I do not think any quest will be finished if you are not willing to put cash in to the game, well I am one who refuses point blank to do this
I go in to a quest now only if there is flight stars to collect, GI are really taking the joy out of the game and ruining it with greed and wondering how next they can make us part with our cash
But I am sure they will loose out in the end, players will slowly but surely leave the game completely

I have decided to abandon the current quest because of the ridiculously increasing fuel costs and lack of returns - with only 2 days to go I have managed only 3 of the 21 collections needed - I had hoped that the Christmas event would have been a more easy event as a kind of present - apparently the presents are only intended to go in one direction. Congratulations to anyone who has completed or is close but I can only assume that you must have spent a lot on bonuses and given a lot of time to achieving it.

I see it the same way. If at least the reward would be worth it then I would put bonuses, but a coin producing building

I gave up on the event as well. I wasn't getting far enough, and it did not seem worthwhile to burn through my fuel reserves given the lack of progress I was making on flight drops to start. At least I got some stars for the flights. Congrats to those that have completed the event.

About to send out gifts for the day. I will be traveling for the next few days so will likely miss gifting tomorrow and possibly another time or two in the next several days.

I also gave up the event, I have only 2 collections so won't complete it and it costs me to much fuel and drop rate is very, very poor. I only have 1 melting machine but it didn't bring me a snow ball. Don't have the bonuses to use and don't want to spend real money for it either since the chance to complete the event then is still to small since I can only send my planes away once a day. I think they sometimes forget that most of us still have a job, school and a Household and we can't play whole day.

I'm Always glad if there's an event to do but it's not so funny anymore if it's so hard to complete them. At least the last events weren't succesfull for me.

So a verry big congrat to all of you who couldl complete it.

Sorry for no gifting yesterday but I wasn't at home and so I have some catching up to do. Think this will be for Sunday since tomorrow I'm also not at home but my gifting will come.

@PIRX : send you an insulation but I'm not sure that I have the right game from you because saw later that it was mentionned sleeping.
