Regarding to Event - maybe you already found it, but it's useless to visit neighbors' Carriage workshop - it just can't give you anything. Only your workshop is useful. So it makes no sense to check workshops when you visiting neighbors...

Dear neighbors,

I now have a third level mission control with a red launch pad to visit plus I still have four research labs If you haven't seen my airport in awhile, it's totally different than when I first started in november.

PLEASE send catering, beacons, or additional radars if you do not have fuel20 --- and if you have needed building items (especially catering and sweets) it will be greatly appreciated. I also need a few altimeters and gyroscopes. Please let me know if I should send you something different than what I have been sending you - I want to gift things you need!

Good Morning Flyers

I've just this moment finished sending out my 20 gifts for this morning, Sunday 14th February 8.55am London time, to my neighbours. This mornings plunder brought in 12,500k coins and 12 launch ready blue chests, even further below my average, compared to yesterday's effort.

Many thanks for all the gifts received yesterday and for those received so far today. My thanks to @ItsRalphy - stabilized Binoculars - I now have all 4 and my thanks also to @yenta613 for helping me out with the fingerprint reader.

You lucky bastard. My 4 shops dropped nothing besides that one item in the beginning just to tease me.
The problem with double-tap is you have to get the first one to drop. I can't.

I haven't managed to build one workshop yet, despite having 15 rings I still haven't got one complete set.
Only one set of the Little Tragedies as well, this mornings 45 taps on romantic buildings produced nothing.

Well, it happens all the time with quests. Some items get stuck badly or they all don't drop properly. Something to do with game's randomizer.
I got stuck before where other people had no trouble at all. I beaten 9 quests and only 3 went smoothly. 3 with difficulties and 3 were terrible including the recent UFO quest.
I told that "double tap" stopped working well. I didn't get a double prize from quest buildings even once.
@yenta613 , 8 items ain't bad! I get 3 items a day from them.

Oh, that's a good example of randomizer's function, not malfunction.
Any collection's chance to be completed is defined by its rarest item because items' drop probabilities are NOT EVEN by the games' rules. Hence every collection has a special super rare item which defines collection's chance to be collected. Hence importance of Planetariums and Training Centers - they drop space items by different set of drop rates (maybe evenly) and give that super rare item rather often allowing to complete space collections.
This rule is applied to quests too. The problem is that quests are limited by time and we have to hurry, plan actions, use power-ups.

@Bob1977 If the probabilities are not even then there is no point in collection - all items except that one super rare are unnecessary.
Good RNG is measured by uniformity of it's results. But it's exceptionally difficult to use RNG properly, as one simple mistake like re-initialization or using rest of division ruins either randomness, uniformity or usually both. That's how the "super rares" happen. The problem is that internet is full of bad examples so every programmer using RNG is doing it wrong unless audit proves otherwise. In one game (neocron) it took us, players 10 years to convince devs they're doing it wrong - and finally they checked the "working" code to discover it really was all wrong.

I suspect nothing else here. Not because of ill will, but simply because it's so easy to do it wrong and never realize it's wrong.

@Agent_L I would totally agree with you about simply untidy coding and RNG usage if there were no phenomenon of Planetariums and Training Centers.
Even if this feature based on code misuse it's kinda game's core feature.
