The game seems to be regressing to, unbelievably, a more buggy state. Been reading quite a few random
happenings from players, just odd things that have never happened to my knowledge. So this morning send out
8 flights before rushing out the door. When I get home 5 or 6 hours later sign on and find nothing has advanced.
Flights just took off according to time left, fuel did not fill back up and residential buildings had their full timer to reset.
Just weird, luckily the clock started again after I signed back in but gets me nervous over a possible time bug hitting
me.

Thanks for today's gifts - as you may know I operated a system of awarding priority points to each person sending a gift, I started at 3 points per gift but then had to drop it to 2 points per gift. Eveyone who had a point was guaranteed a gift even if you missed the next day. Gladly/Sadly (not sure which) I have had an influx of neighbours over the last two days and I am having to reduce this to 1 point per gift received - which means that for each gift you send I will send one back. I keep a track of all this in a spreadsheet which hopefully works 99% of the time.

Yeah, that's the only problem - I have over 60 of unsolicited requests and it'll be difficult to find you without notice. And there are only 20 gifts per day, I really rather not exceed that number of neighbors...

Thank you; I'll check on my gifts in a few minutes. If you don't want to trade gifts dialy, I'm fine with simply being neighbors. I like to have the neighbors so I have options when I want to send a launch. It usually takes me several days before I can return a gift. You're new here, so I'll squeze you in tonight, but after a while, it takes a few days to get through everyone. We all ahve the same problem, and it just works. We each have our own rules as to how we prioritze to send back. I give preference to those who need building items and those who send me what is on my needs list. Others do first in, first out. You'll develop your own system. I suggest getting a dedicated notebook, or make a spreadsheet, or both.
If you'd like to keep our trading low key, just don't send a gift back, I understand, honestly. Thanks.

Hi - new here and hoping to find some new neighbors and trading. I've been playing for about 6 weeks, and have about 35 neighbors, only 4-5 of which trade on a regular basis - and rarely what I need! Five of my neighbors are on android, and cannot trade. (but I keep them as neighbors, because their airports are great for visiting.)

Soooooo, looking for new neighbors who like to trade and can put up with my old lady slowness! Right now I'm just doing lots of flights, trying to get to 100,000 to get a level 5 runway. Hopefully, I can get my mission control center done so I can do some launches.

I play daily, and look forward to sharing. Thanks!

* Introduce yourself in this thread. We encourage participation between forum members, both game wise and just conversationally, as there are many people from all across the globe here, and you can learn a great deal from chatting and participating. Feel free to ask as many questions as you can come up with, I'm sure one of us will be able to help you.

* If you look at everyone who has posted, you'll notice a signature containing their forum name, game name, level, stars, hearts, friend code, time zones, etc. In that signature, they will also place the items they need for their game, and also the items they can gift to neighbors. This way, everyone knows what they all need, and also what everyone can gift. This will make things a lot easier for you, as well as your neighbors.

If you receive a friend request from a forum member:

* They should have "tagged" you (@ symbol followed by forum username - Like I did with you above), or sent a private message telling you they sent the request. You will receive 200 coins for them adding you.

* If you choose to accept the request, that person will receive 200 coins also. At this time, you should immediately input their friend code. When you do this, you will receive 100 coins.

* You are now connected and can exchange gifts.

If you send a friend request to a forum member:

* You should "tag" them or send them a private message telling them you did so. Many forum members do not accept blind friend requests, especially from non forum members. When you input their code, you will receive 100 coins, they will receive 200 coins.

* Once that member has received your friend request, they should input your friend code to complete the connection. This would give you 200 coins. You should now be connected as neighbors and gifts may be exchanged.

If you have just started out, you may be unaware that there are also some bonus features that are available in the game that you can take advantage of. These include:

* Every weekend, G! puts out a weekend code. This code gives you 3 greenies, and $2000. in cash. The code is usually first posted in the Airport City News forum, but someone always posts it in this thread as well.

* Every other week, G! offers land expansions at 50% off. This is a great way of increasing your airport or City size.

* Every other week opposite from the land expansion sale, is a 300% bank offer, where when you purchase greens or cash with real money, you would get 300% time for the same amount of real money (Ex: instead of 32 greens for $8.99, you would get 96.)

* This site - http://airportcity.wikia.com/wiki/Airport_City_Wiki - is great for finding out what items are needed to complete all buildings, items required for flights, excavation flights, space launches, etc. You should bookmark it.

Hi gang - just upgrading my terminal and looking at what next. I want to get a Falcon S2 when they next come on offer, as they look really cool in Gold, and I have got on really well with the silver planes I have. Could do with upgrading my Control Tower so I can put an extra hangar out without selling an older one - but I need all the items for CT8. SO - can anyone help with:-

- DEMODULATORS (need 4)
- FINGERPRINT READERS (need 2)
- LASER RANGEFINDERS (need 4) and
- STABILISED BINOCULARS (need 4) - flights to Montreal are not dropping them fast enough for me!

To upgrade my town hall, which needs 8 of everything, I am nearly there (big thanks to @Jake for the Postal Drones) but just need:-
- ENERGY SAVING LAMPS (need 3)

If anyone can help me, you guys can!!

GI support are complete morons too. They falsely accuse you of cheating and then want you to send them a screenshot of your clock settings to prove you didn't --- if someone was able to change their clock settings to cheat they certainly would change it back before sending the screenshot. I expect they have a major database error since I got the time traveler - "cheater" message last monday and again this monday. I'm still waiting for them to fix the game. In the meantime, I can't visit neighbors, send gifts, launch a rocket, or buy items from Duke (who "does not interact with time travelers or those involved in suspicious activity" according to the message when trying to buy items) I'm thoroughly ticked off with GI and their unethical company and idiot support people. Last week they finally told me it was a bug they were working on and instead of handling it different this time, they once again accused me of cheating (after I spent WAY too much on greenies when they were on sale over the weekend)
