Of course, everybody need millions of coins and lots of greenies... But that is the game, you can have all of it in days or weeks... For game progres, you need patience and your own strategy. We are different and there is one basic way to play, but with own strategy you can have more fun. And GI know how to do it...

I got the update this morning (around 6 o,clock local) could not sleep.
You can check, by going to the store, swipe from right screen to left, select setting en check for updates

As I read it, there are 2 possibilty's
a. You did the fix I suggested, then you get 2 new folders, basicly a reinstall of the libary MATWindows81SDK and Newtonsoft.Json. You will see the old MATWindows81SDK_old and the new MATWindows81SDK. Same for the java (json) folder. maby there is a small posibility that the json folder is not reinstalled. If it is not, then you have to rename it back and see the results. But as long it works, leave it.

b. You dit not use the fix, MATWindows81SDK and Newtonsoft.Json will be update to the new version.You will see nothing, except if you check the dll version. But why should you and off course you finaly can play.

I did the rename 2 folders with "_old" fix that Alex suggested. I just installed the new update..............
....It all works fine!

Still broken on Windows 10 for me... tried new AC installs on multiple fresh Win 10 machines. Was working fine for the last 6 months. Perhaps I'll install an old build of Win10 to see if it's the new build. With both problems hitting at the same time I'm not sure. (Although AC did break initially with the update on the previous build.) Those files don't exist on any of the installs I've done which is odd. Worked fine in my Win8.1 VM and my wife's Surface.

That's totally understandable while Win10 is "preview", but they can't ignore it as Win8 and 10 share the same store and Win10 is rumored to be released in less than 3 months. I set up 2 new VM's last night running builds 10074 and 9926. Then installed from the store for both, same behavior on both. So it is something changed with AC that broke it on Windows 10 (as it previously ran fine on 9926).

I only discovered AC when the first preview of Windows 10 was released as I'm one of those IT people that hates Windows 8. I'm running my primary game in a Win 8 VM currently, but performance sucks without a GPU. My second game is being ignored for now. I'm not going to be reverting back to Windows 8 just for this game so I do hope they get it fixed soon.

And of course Sunshine Bay still works fine in Windows 10...

Okay, I'm back to say thank you to the team and GI. Was bummed to have been off the game for almost a week. Then one night I tried to sign on. No luck. Then bingo. Later in the day it appeared that I was flying again.

Love, love, love the new set-up. Graphics, ease of use. Also like the new discoveries:
+ If you click on the postage stamp of the flights it shows how many more flights needed to go to the next level.
+ Like the rental plane idea. Was fun to send a number of planes to the same location
+ Like the Lunar Launch - Level 3 Mission
+ Enjoy the baggage hall.
+ Great new buildings, lots of challenges
+Cool colors on the new big jets
+ On visiting neighbors - great work on letting me know how many more I can visit and time till next batch.

I enjoyed the subway stations - I think I missed one. Is there ever going to be a chance to complete the set?

The
- I can't figure out where the Laundry building went. Was saving for it then - I can't seem to find it.
- This is most likely an operator issue: I don't get the value of the silver and gold medals. I'm sure I'll learn. Buying a hotel with a bunch - not sure I get the ROI.

My message here. Thanks for the recovery on the game. I'm enjoying it. And I appreciate the work and creativity.

@Capt. Bama Good to see you on the forum! Please visit the windows section for trading and launches. Post a few times a week and you will get a lot out of it.
Laundry is in the power tab. I don't care about ROI - it was too awesome to pass up on the Grand Hotel. Glad I didn't use any on planes. Save the rest for upcoming casino/bank/mint quests!
