I now realise I have yet another hurdle to overcome and it is the 'infrared telescope', one of four items, needed to complete the launch preparation before opening the launch procedure.

This is actually one of the easier collections to get for space launches, I have 120 of them. When visiting neighbors look for those that have planetariums. Visit those neighbors every day and click on their planetariums first, then MCC3 and red launch pad. You will have infrared telescopes in no time at all.

I haven't because I am still trying to choose one, I need to get to a big electronic store and see which one you could use for cable internet. there are so many different ones out I think over 100 at least.

Thank you again Ken

Ok I have to jump into this router discussion. Routers by themselves have no compatibility issues no matter what isp you use. If, however, you use a modem/router combo compatibility must match. The part that needs to be compatible is the modem not the router unless as stated the modem is also the router. With that said modem/router combos are generally inferior in performance to having a separate modem and router. If you have a separate modem and router really the only questions are what speed is your isp and how much you want to spend.
If you have a very high speed connection and money is no problem look for an AC router that accommodates or preferably exceeds the speed of your isp. If you don't want to spend as much look to a wireless - n router. As far as brands routers are pretty tough and quite often still work when you replace them so most are fine. A couple well respected brands are D-Link and netgear but really any well known brand will likely work fine for you. Also if you do have the modem/router combo a quick search for "compatible modems for your isps name" (example: compatible modems for comcast) should lead you to the information you need.

Hi all, just a quick update on my daughter Rompom's account if your still waiting for her to accept you. Her old (my old vaio) wont's turn on, I'll get it fixed when I get some time!

Cheers
@Saralaraloola
I waited so long that I thought she wasn't going to accept my request, I deleted her from waiting list. Sorry.

When I'm plundering my 12 neighbours for goodies I always focus on the following locations e.g. red, blue and green launches, mcc3 and research labs. Where else would you suggest? Later on today I will be visiting them.

That is brilliant and thanks for the link, it makes things far clearer when you have a visual image. I'm assuming the advance players are the only ones who have these? Are they widespread?

Fairly, a number of forum members have one or even two (@Cosmic Blue comes to mind) in some cases. @Brasil95 has three:cool:. I have one non forum neighbour with 6. Is likely to be higher level or long "serving" players with them - they were part of a quest which ran a few months ago and can also be bought as "Mystery Super Building 2" but these cost 65 greenies from the Airship (99 from the store) and doesn't guarantee you a Planetarium.

They were originally from an event but can be bought (if your lucky) through Duke for 65 greenies with the mystery super building 2. The thing is you get 1 of 10 buildings so you might get it you might not. They are fairly common for players that have been around for a while.
I have a planetarium I got recently by playing the mystery building lottery and actually
got what I wanted.
The Astronaut Academy http://airportcity.wikia.com/wiki/Astronaut_Academy
and the training center http://airportcity.wikia.com/wiki/Training_Center
Also have good drop rates you can look at those links for what they reward.

Yes, I do see what you mean, have just finished plundering, the best to date. They were difficult to spot and there are so few of them.
Oh I wish I had a planetarium! - I was a late developer in realising the value of launches, and missed the quest. I keep a note beside the names on my gifting sheet and they are definitely first call!

I was just thinking the same thing, is it too cheeky to ask who they are and how many neighbours?

Is there a list somewhere with all those Windows PC gamers who have them? If there is, I don't want to reinvent the wheel. If not, then that's a new project.
