Very sad and upset in Bangkok!!!!!

I lost my second place flying to London to a cheating hack! I have the proof. See the attached screenshot please. This "Anderl" makes me so angry. How do we bust him?

Good morning gang, from a cold, wet, grey England, but it is warm and sunny in our hearts!

@Flo - you will always be welcome on your flight here, where as our friend who shall not be named never will! - he did the same thing to me over Chicago, and reading through the forums, he is a well known and much disrespected character. (A translation into my real thoughts is available, but little people read this forum!). If you look at the last weeks ratings tab, 3rd place got a gold star, so you should still get one - hang on in there.

@david smith - joined your launch, but really do not have much more to put in - but I am there!

Stars - hey gang, I have reached 200 stars - don't get anything but a big whoop whoop!!!

Gifts - right, I won't be gifting tonight. It only takes a few minutes each day and your window moves further and further away. My picture does not do me justice, as I really need my beauty sleep, and need to get my window back to early evening! - so I plan to gift mid day tomorrow, and then early evening the day after - and try and keep it there. At the moment, I can gift all forum members who have sent me to date - anyone who gifts me from now will be tomorrow before I return not today. If you gift me daily and want to miss a day to gift someone more in need, I am cool with that and it will stop me stressing about not being fair back!!!!

ok - yesterdays joke of the day at 8 likes, so will continue with the same level of groans and cringes tonight!!!!

@Flo - Unfortunately, it's a part of the game that you have to live with, at least for now. It's not right, and it's not fair, but the best thing to do is not get too upset about it. It's not good for you. What you should be doing, is looking at the fact that you are a 3rd place winner If it holds up, and that's in the Top 10, which is pretty darned good. So be proud of yourself, there'll be another time for you.

Thanks for cheering me on. But, how is it possible to do 279 flights in 30 minutes? (269 flights if he was just outside the person placed 100th with 11 flights). Is there anyway to do that without hacking the game and using cheats?

If you go to the world map and look at all the destination (I did when he stole Chicago from me) he will be first at around 2/3rd of them, and by a big gap each time. (If you look in the posts, someone has a post dedicated to cheaters and tracks him each week!). Problem is that it IS possible without cheating, but you have to spend a fortune on greenies instead. Therefore in GI's eyes, he is just an "unfair" player with load of money to throw at the game (and they are not going to stop that).

We just have to go for 2nd place each time knowing that first place is never attainable. With that expectation, we can keep trying and most importantly of all, keep SMILING.

I am over it already thanks to my neighbors and others here and a talking to from mom and dad. I have gone to the cheating thread and got a nice message back from @Bob1977 . I also reviewed his online Excel file. I have also seen these time travelers around the world map. However, I still question how one would physically do 269 flights in 30 minutes. That is 6.691 seconds per flight cycle. Even with all the greenies in the world, how would one be able to do that?

As a time traveler he's got much more time for launching planes before resetting the clock. Besides hacking the game can give instant refueling and reloading. I guess the same hacking allows to escape that dumb time travel monitor, bothering mostly fair players all the time.

Ah - I can also answer that one as well. I was on holiday recently with no wifi for a week. You can play the game perfectly normally, including gifting (the clock works off line for your window times) and flights - you just don't receive gifts and can't visit. However, when you next go on line, it all catches up - so all my flights for the week loaded through to the world map in one go, and neighbours got more than one gift from me in the same day. I still agree, it is an impossible number, but they could be spread over several days and then load in one go. I was gutted when he did it to me as I was really trying for 1st place to Chicago, and this is just an explanation of "how" they can come through in a clump - in no way am I condoning it!!!!

I know you were gutted about Chicago. I thought your flights only counted toward the world map competition if you are online when they are completed? Anyway, he hasn't been on vacation for a week. I have seen him stacking up flights all over the map. As Bob1977 says above, he is hacking the clock. C'est la vie...

@ItsRalphy , I tried such trick a couple of times but the system didn't count my offline flights at all. Maybe it was fixed at some point or they were just unlucky tries.
Besides, cheaters often leap 50+ flights an hour which cannot be explained by offline flights.
