Well after having no issues with the game since March I have joined the "crashing club". I tried starting my game today and it constantly crashes.

I have contacted customer support - so not sure how long that will take.

Thanks for all the gifts over the days - but you can hold off sending me anything until this gets resolved.

@ Rocky, sorry buddy we can't be neighbors right now. I don't have a green hook; I can't reenter your code. Maybe someday we will connect again as in my first game.

@Mr. K My second game is on a separate device. If you do the phone, you might not be able to share with the windows group. The phones seem to be different systems, android can't trade with windows. Research it a little before you start. You might need to keep two separate friends lists and can't trade with yourself. I love sending myself wonderful surprises. I haven't started a game on my phone.

@Ema re "I am back with some items to trade. Who is available?" Just send gifts whenever you are able. Your cycle will reset every 24 hours. The time starts with the first gift you send or the first neighbor you visited that cycle. Use this forum to tell us what you need; and to learn what others need. When you reach the launching stage of your game; visit the windows launch forum to talk about active launches. One more thing; if you have a question; ask us; we usually have an answer.

a lot of games are crashing; I'm afraid to open mine

OK guys. It seems that a lot of people experienced a crashed game. Mine was like whenever I start airportcity then game closes itself as soon as my city starts to appear. I managed to fixed it myself without contacting GI. Here is my fix but do it at your own risk. I never purchased anything on this game so there is no problem for me to risk it.
Go to the folder C:/Users/username/AppData/Local/Packages/0E........AirportCity......./LocalState/
The folder with dots...... is too long but you can figure it yourself.
Now in this folder there are three files. Make a backup of them.
Reinstall you airport city, start it and close it. Now restore the three files you made a backup.
Be careful to backup all of the three files, I suspect that GI uses ProfileHashtable.bin to keep track on the cheaters so make sure to have a backup of that file.
After you restored the three files, start airportcity again and you should get your game back.
But as I said do it at your own risk.

Does my time of sending gifts get better the more neighbors I have and the higher I go on levels? I have 10hr left to go to send gifts

having more neighbors allows you to receive more gifts. There is a limit of 20 that you may send at any level. The very low levels are less.

earning higher levels does improve the list of items you can send. At the low levels, the list continuously gets better with each level. At the higher levels, upgrading some buildings will result in losing certain gifts that will be usually replaced by other gifts. I don't know a lot about which items are lost and replaced, i just know it happens. Sometimes you will ask someone for something listed in the profile, and they will reply that they no longer have that item to give; this is the reason why. When accepting gifts, don't hit return the gift because they are usually changed by the system to some other item. Sometimes, someone will ask you to hit return; that's OK to do then. Have fun playing.

@Ema - for whatever reason, I see in the waiting area but nothing to accept your request. Same thing with your @Rainer. I am able to start sending gifts and visit. Are you both having problem with your games?
