But do the missions keep going as in you get new ones?

Good question. LOL. I'm only at level 52, but would assume there are still some missions that you take a while to complete, and there may be new ones. You just can't advance level wise anymore. But one of the 55er's could probably tell you more. *S*

Hi there.
Yes when you get to level 55 there are still all the missions to complete that run down the left side of the screen also if you are flying to collect stars these increase in proportion to the type of plane you fly.
For example when you get to Falcon flights you need to complete 100 flights for your first star & a total of 400 to get 3 stars.
In addition the ratio of drops from flights decreases as you get to higher levels so you will have to fly beyond the 3 star limit to complete these missions.
I hope this does not sound too daunting as it is part of the fun of the game and as a very experienced player @greensmith has said if it was easy everyone could do it and if you look around this forum you will find many words of wisdom & support from him.
I have quoted @Ten33go into this post to save my tired typing finger and I hope your excitement at what is to come has been whetted.
Cheers.
Robert

I assumed it would be better than the standard falcon, and it uses up my token whist saving lots of cash. Sounds like it is a bad buy???

I can't speak from personal experience, but from what I hear and read around here, the Golden planes (S1, S2, etc.) are great for the speed, but they break down about every 3 flights or so. And apparently it costs greenies to get them out, instead of aircraft ties, cockpit glass, etc.

I'd say it depends on how you look at things as to what you do, but....I don't think I will ever buy one of those for the breakdown aspect of it alone...

Gang - welcome thoughts - if you are to use up 10 gold and 100 silver tokens - would you go for a silver falcon, or a silver giant, or something else?

No problem, at least I could help out with something specific rather than fuel or spare hose like I do with the upper level players

Haha, yes, I have the same thing. Half of the things the higher level players need I never even heard of :p Most of the gifts I send are duty free items or something at least somewhat useful as an additional radar. Being able to help with buildings is very rare :)

please help me finish my fuel station

Everything you need for your fuel station upgrade is not giftable. You have to obtain it by flights. Just like me with fuel station level 3. If I knew what I knew now, I'd probably stay at fuel station level 2 instead of upgrading. Probably won't upgrade any more. Unless someone debunks what I've heard around the forums regarding this...

@ItsRalphy - Again, it depends on the person. For example, I got into the space program rather late, which means that I have limited silver tokens, and no gold ones yet. So for me, it's impossible.

But if it were possible, I think I'd rather invest the tokens in a building such as a Grand Hotel, which gives you 300 more population and $520 every 2-3 days or so, and is cheaper than a town hall upgrade. Or something else down the road that maybe I'm not aware of yet.

Again, I'm just going on my reading other people's experiences. It sounds to me like they're more of a headache than a helpful alternative.

@ItsRalphy : If you're going for a plane, I would go with a falcon (since they cost so much with coins)-the breaking down factor with a token plane is an issue I've had like others have said though. I would definitely suggest having an extra repair base slot so you can repair other planes while waiting for the token plane to be repaired. (Since the high level planes (giants, etc.) cost greenies to repair that aren't token planes anyhow, it would be something needed at some point anyway.) And there's the times I know I've accidentally hit the 'speed up for greenies' to repair plane button (out of habit in repairing the other planes.)

Another option is saving a lot of gold and silver tokens and waiting to be able to afford a building like a casino-it sounds like that will cost at least 100 golds and 800 silvers this year (and who knows what it would cost in the future though.) Getting golden tokens from the golden chests from the red launch water world collections and from chests from completing excavation collection sets (and when you can do so top 3 in flights for the week) does take a lot of time and effort but would end up as a savings of real money if you eventually ended up with a casino.

With all of that, I think either of those options are interesting with their benefits and challenges. I would say it is a matter of what your goals are, how you want to play the game, etc.

@WAMike - Cool, thanks for the info. I wasn't aware that upper level planes (Token or otherwise) needed greens to repair. Learn something everyday....

This may be a stupid question, but since I've never done it, I don't have any idea. When you have a repair base, and you buy an extra slot, when you upgrade that repair base (If applicable), does the extra repair slot go with you, or do you have to purchase another one?
