At both of you, I feel your pain. This morning, I was playing the game. but rocky and I were having some issues in the gifting dept. He returned the gift back that I sent...but i have not received. So I shut down my game and then reloaded. Now I am back to level 1. An the sad part, I have a backup but it to level 11. EEEK!!! LOL Oh the joy of this game. So majority of you i need an invite. I believe I can not enter codes in again. Please. @Saralaraloola, @Bj, @Nicks, @Steve26, @KenDuckySmith and I'll list more later.

I tried your code, however it proved to show as not a correct promo code and of course to recheck again. Otherwise, either I come back as a neighbor, by trying wmn80oj as my code, waiting for GI to restore game, ' correctly' as they've been known to even mess that up. Take it from someone who made it to the top, had everything going, and lost 5 levels and all my efforts went with it.
Or you can wait until my name gets pulled from the hat and is presented to you or vice versa and try to add the person; although that also seems to be an issue.
Getting to where every time I add a building, complete a challenge, add land, greenies, or do anything, before I end my session, i have to save my own local data, because saving it on their servers/cloud is worthless.

Rookie question here, but how do you raise your star rating? Mine is currently 23 but I need 24 for the next lot of flights and I've never noticed what influences the rating to go up.

Stars are accumulated by reaching the 3 flight levels - Specialist, Master and expert. Each time you reach a level, you get a star.

@Saralaraloola when you complete a certain number of flights to each destination / city, you get a star.
to see how many flights you need, hold your finger on the stamp of a destination when you open a flight window.
I hope that makes sense!

just flying to cities to gain upgrade items helps get those flights too!!

Okay, now I know this is a trading thread, but I've noticed that the majority of the other forums (Chat, News, etc.) is dominated by primarily IOS and android players. Not that their opinion isn't worth obtaining, but I know how each platform, though similar is somewhat different (Levels, quests, etc.).

I'm currently at level 51. Now, whenever a new runway came out, even if I didn't have that plane yet, I would buy it to land guest planes and get drops for new collections. Wellll, that didn't quite work out so well on this level. LOL. $800k is a big chunk of change.

Now, the point of this rambling... I have a couple of options in mind, but was curious as to what players who have been at this level for a while, and playing the game for a while, would do. So with that in mind, this is my current state of the city / airport:

Level 51
Town Hall level 6
Terminal level 5
Repair base level 5
Baggage Hall level 3
Control Tower level 4
MCC level 1
Green Launch pad

I have 1 level 5 runway
I have 5 planes, soon to be 6 - 1 Turboprop, 2 jets, 2 Deltas.
I currently have roughly $144,000.

I will be performing a land expansion, which may change a bit since I can't get a level 6 runway yet. City and airport side will be expanded. Now, I know I'm going to need a laundry pretty soon, which is $100K, plus buy at least 1 more Delta. Not worried about Powerful Deltas just yet. Also will have to upgrade Town Hall, or do a lot of green launches and get silver tokens to buy a Grand Hotel, or both.

Option A: Do land expansion. Get additional hanger and plane. Upgrade Baggage Hall to level 4, because the length of time it takes a Powerful Delta and Jumbo is mind numbing sometimes. Upgrade MCC1 to MCC2. Get blue launch pad.

Option B: Do land expansion. Get additional level 5 runway. Get additional hanger and plane. Upgrade Baggage Hall to level 4. Upgrade control tower to level 5. Get additional plane / hanger.

Option C: Open to suggestions. Now, just a little background. I've been playing in a somewhat organized and what some people may refer to as an "Anal" way. I am one of those, "It has to look like a city and an airport" kind of person. What can I say? It bugs me. LOL. Keeping that in mind, please make your suggestions based on that...I'm willing to try something new and different, just depends on how new and different it is.

What can I say - I am anal as well and like my airport look "real" and organised - so you are very definitely not alone!!! Remember the aim is to get as much cash in per session so you can expand as fast as possible and keep growing your city and moving up levels. Bigger planes, moving up the levels per destination by doing as many flights as you can to them, and in particular, green, blue and red launches all earn good money - so I would go with your first choice the best earner. Don't worry about being anal, you need to enjoy your city and you are not alone!

Thing to remember is that your game is not lost or gone - it is on the GI servers somewhere and your computer has just "los"t your connection to it. The code GI give you wlll re-establish your link and get your game back. You have to play the new game to around level 3 or 4, and then key the code in the friend code section, and your old game will magically reappear. Better than starting over as long as the code doesn't take too long! Good luck.
