Don't know exact number but have 3 stars on all destinations except Puerto Rico (20 less then 3rd star). Still have active maps, i'll add numbers required for 3 star.

Alexandria - 30/55/110
Miami - 22/40/85
Sacramento - 30/60/110
Puerto Rico - 27/55/110
Approximately for all destination for all collection i needed around 110 - 120 flights (except Puerto Rico). But also some flights were done without golden dice. With golden dice - I would say around 90-100 should be enough for each destinations.

Need to Looks like I'll never get Puerto Rico 3rd star (at least it is not the priority). I have one map left so, maybe one day. Now I use this same golden dice and fuel leftovers and triggered Merida map (for colloseum). Got great drop rate and got 12 items.
I'm going with new strategy - when I collect 400 red fuels (black and gold extra) will trigger golden dice and will fly to one of colloseum destinations - will see where t will take me.
