is there any benefit to research labs besides the coins it produces? some people have so many

Besides the coins and the benefits for neighbours there are 2 more positive things.
For once they can be placed both on the city side and also on the airport side. And the most important thing they don't count towards your population limit like all the other coin producing buildings.

Our rocket will be landing in 22 hours or so. Hope we can keep launching together. Was successful this week. I think you're getting a top spot and a QL. My game has been blocked so mine was not counted.
I'm just waking up saturday morning in Sweden, and you are probably asleep now. This feature of the game is fascinating. All you nice friends out there all over the world.

Use the gift menu. Do not send gifts using the Neighbor menu or when you are visiting a neighbor. When using the gift menu, scroll in between the columns. And if you make a mistake, you can always X out.
