I feel like there was plenty of warning that the planetarium quest was coming so you guys should have easily saved the 600,000 coins needed (except for folks that are lower level and can't possibly save that much). This is probably similar to getting the Astronaut Academy. It was a one time event only. @Faith1984 I have two days on my Mission Control to launch.

But anyways, support has resolved the gifting issue. Too bad my gift list has changed to the crappy one without Fuel 20. Updating in a few minutes.

i was only just able to afford my terminal 6 and control tower 6 in the last two weeks. for me, unless i were to spend real money in this game, there would be no way i could've saved the 600,000 coins necessary before today (really to succeed in this challenge, you would've had to have already started building the red launch pad and upgrading the control center at least a day before the event started so you would have enough time after they're done being built to get a launch off).

You know technically like the last space event with Astronaut Academy, we only have to launch. It does not need to be successful

I have one whose red launch pad is in construction. Then again, remember launch doesn't have to be successful if we need 3000

I went through most of my neighbors Level 40+. I have two that should get the built in time. A couple that won't.

And then there's the people I shake my head at like wtf are they doing with their city. There's one guy with Mission Control 2 but zero launch pads. And there's level 50s with no space programs at all.

I have also 2 except you two who will maybe be launch ready with infrastructure (don't know about collections). Looks like it is 3 of us who will be able to make a launch (except someone doesn't push it a little and speeds up the constructions (4 bucks each).

I can give you plenty of advices, but you should be little more specific:
1. for every purchase if you can by for coins, gather coins (including all of first few expansions).
2. bucks only for land expansions
3. Save golden and silver tokens and wait for casino, mint, bank offer
4. Now you have options to get buildings for free by landing planes (smart house and perfume stores are very good for income/passengers
5. never spend bucks on buying missing items for building
6. don't pay attention to normal quests on your left side - they will tempt you to change your gameplan and spend money
7. you have to be active as later progress require lot of coins
8. try to complete every event (rewards are decent and most of them require only time to play
9. try to find the best layout of buildings based on land you have (to squeeze as much buildings as you can)
10. Be patient - you can achieve everything but without spending real money it takes a long time.

thanks @Kesh! good tips. you're right, it does take a long time. right now, i have a "mystery super bonus" offer where i can get a unique random super bonus that can't be bought in the store. it costs 10 gold coins and 500 silver coins. should i not bother with it?

check the general pa<rt of forum - people weren't so much excited with this bonuses - too costy for the reward
