A bug is a bug and need to be fixed.Its like cheeting against other players.
They would have discovered it anyway sooner or later.

Interesting that this didnot require an update.

In the morning it was back to normal, but after reloading the buildings went back to the wrong count.

In the morning my Smart House showed the normal 18+7 passengers.
But as the day progressed and the house reloaded, it went through the following - 18+14, 18+21, 18+42
Some sort of progression I feel.

They will fix it anyway and whether we tell them or not will not speed it up by the looks of it. This update is way too buggy so they'll be quite busy chasing them all. I'm not even sure they'll fix all of it by the time of the next update. So don't fret and enjoy it for now.
