F**k yeah, because entering code consisting of letters and numbers wasn't already hard enough on puny mobile keyboards!

Hostility towards customer, the best of the best practices in customer service.

However - the asterisks will be of great help for automatically webscraping FB page. Harder for humans, easier for bots. I guess they don't have enough cheaters so they need to support them.
