I didnt say he could do something I asked if it was for reinstalling only (seems to be the case but he didn't actually answer that either) and then said we need an official explanation.

Update not activate limit.
Reinstall it and changing the code activate the limit.

Correct - I updated my old android game - it did not activate the limit.

So does this mean new players will have the limit?

But it makes so much sense to limit the items to 100 - look how much storage space they will save by only storing 100 items in the warehouse instead of 2486. Having all those hangars full of items to keep up with must be really expensive.... electricity, security, etc.

As far as I understood, G! can restore your game on a new device without imposing the 100 items restriction if you give them the code of your old game. However, it is questionable if they do that for all customers since that really costs them time and thus money.
If it will stay that way is also unsure since it had been said that the 100 limit would not be applied when there were rumors about it and now look what happened. Short-sighted management forcing developers to kill their baby.

Same limit is now imposed on windows i had to restore my game after a crash eventho i retained the same code the limit was added to the restored version
