Some news here.

Events launches are no longer linked to numerical update version. That means that we are not bound by the store update when it comes to opening an event.
This week we’re going to launch Riding the Comet event.
As many of you know - it is all about group space launches.

Reward – Parallax Hotel

• Max population cap +20.
• generates 185 coins every 24 hours.
• Plus it might drop items for the space launches.

8.9 update is planned for the next week.
It will bring updated flights interface, as we call it Flights 2.0

About 500 flight images were reworked. And we hope that flight management will be more comfortable cause all necessary flight info is now organized in one place.

Great news re: the solve for events being delayed by updates on different platforms. A great solve for an obvious pain point. I feel like we’ve given some pretty “vocal”and “enthusiastic” feedback lately so nice to see it being actioned.
Looking forward to seeing the new flight interface when it launches.

Very true, 1 launch for the task and over 70 for the progress (event building)...

Hi - it depends on the event, many events don't have it, some do

And some like the current event only pay currency for certain plane\destinations. GI mixes up event configuration.

This is the classic dilemma. Do I choose:
A) tata with 2 QLs, but only 400 points....
B) Puma with 1 QL, but already up to 1200 points, and he's my Alliance mate....
C) despite no QLs, passing up the chance to travel to outer space with Fartquon McBallz is something I might regret for the rest of my life....

It's supposed to give launch material. 8 accelartion to collect it today, reward 1 small fuel tank. Yipee !

Thats right - the version numbers are different for each platform. We should all be on 8.8, but windows may have needed 20 iterations and ios only 15 to achieve the same place, so that may not be it. @Ur-quan updated on that in days gone by.

Yeah, I've builded second day after event started. Then I throw it in my warehouse soon after event was finished. Waste of space with this building that almost every time produces... nothing.
The ONLY true valuable thing on this event was the "Space Base".
