Trainstation 2

I just started playing Trainstation 2. Does anybody else play this? Is there anything/forum like this for that game? Also, the gems seem to be the hardest currency to obtain. Is there anything I should be saving them for later in the game? Was thinking of buying addition dispatchers with them. Any advice would be appreciated!

I play TS2. I have only seen "forum" like threads for that game on Reddit. Save your gems, gears, and sell off the majority of duplicate trains to upgrade the trains you keep (keep some, just not 4+ duplicates). You should also join a union as there are some great benefits. I am in NonStopTrainCo if you want to join...it's open to all and very chill (aka not that competitive).

Update, I am now on level 39 and my game may be over. I need to get to level 40 to unlock the United States. I have completed 100% of Britain, Germany & Frostdam. The only thing I haven't completed in those areas requires either the legendary, epic or rare trains. I have tried just about everyway to get these trains, but have had no luck. I have 30 plus trains, counting duplicates, but can't get these needed trains!!! If I can't get more experience to unlock new territories that will be the end of my game.

2 questions, is there some trick to getting these trains during the "random" spin? Also, is there any other way to gain experience that I am missing? Any pointers would be extremely welcome!!!

Update, I am now on level 39 and my game may be over. I need to get to level 40 to unlock the United States. I have completed 100% of Britain, Germany & Frostdam. The only thing I haven't completed in those areas requires either the legendary, epic or rare trains. I have tried just about everyway to get these trains, but have had no luck. I have 30 plus trains, counting duplicates, but can't get these needed trains!!! If I can't get more experience to unlock new territories that will be the end of my game.

2 questions, is there some trick to getting these trains during the "random" spin? Also, is there any other way to gain experience that I am missing? Any pointers would be extremely welcome!!!

I started the game after i read your post last week so i am a bit behind. I havent found tricks to get these trains easier only through events / the containers. There is really a forum like this missing so your only good source for informations is reddit. I will try to join a union with discord there are apparently a couple Unions which have sub unions for beginners too.

Did you find any other good source for informations on the game yet ?

Thanks for the reply. I haven't found any other good sources of information 😔. A new event did drop today based on the Chinese new year. At least I can get some XP points to make the slog to level 40.

A few tips for those just starting out playing this game. Save resources to expand your warehouse - the biggest catch is you need to increase your population to expand the warehouse. To increase the population build the buildings in your station area whenever the chance arises. Also, upgrade the buildings as the resources to do this are usually easily obtainable.

Save your resources to buy an additional, permanent dispatcher. I'm currently on level 40 and I have only had the opportunity to buy one permanent dispatcher without spending real money. You have can get temporary dispatchers multiple ways, but the permanent ones are the best to get.

Good luck with the "random" train spins. My luck with this is HORRIBLE as I have very few of the epic, legendary or rare trains. You need some of those train types to complete certain jobs!!

Unfortunately the trick to make sure you get the right trains in the right region is to not try to level up quickly. Use the free gems and keys you earn to use in the shop to buy the train crates. I have found joining a union helps a lot to get keys (...and other stuff) to get union trains which can also be used in the regular tasks. Once you move to the next region, the only way to get trains for past regions already completed is to spend money when offered, about every 3 to 4 weeks in the awards part of the shop.
