For sure it's a grind, but I have confidence in you @ItsRalphy! 💪

I use a spreadsheet to keep track of it all, a tip I learned from this site actually.

Ha ha - me too, trying to 3 star everything!! Alliance missions the hardest.
There was a bug awhile back that was dropping alliance maps hard to anyone in an alliance so if you were part of that it makes all the difference. Still, the alliance maps are only 3 hours so while it was easier to grab stars for on the lower-level planes, it will take years or an obscene amount of fuel to achieve. A condor is a 12-hour flight, and even with a 50% livery you only getting at most 14 flights per map even with a Vintage Weathervane. Spirit of Adventure and Jet Pack bonuses are not growing on trees either.

Here is my progress to date. 50 locations and while I'm confident I can 1-star them all, getting to that second star? It would be wonderful to hear how other fliers go about these.

I'm far slower on alliance maps - focussing on excavation ones first. Here is my progress!

Alliance isn't my focus either for now, I've only been working on them as I completed an aircraft towards Tower of London award. Good luck on the Excavations. At least they don't require supplemental items from other aircraft types. It's more time consuming when your destination requires an item such as a Propeller and you have to split your fleet 50/50 to get the item. The grind really shows up in destinations where the aircraft types are split, such as Taipei, etc. where you need a Jumbo for the destination but a Raven to get the Nav unit. Grind, grind, grind :(

Well done Nayeon, keep going, persistence pays off. 🏅 Try joining some fuel rings, it will give you what you need to achieve your goals.
Fuel isn't the blocker in this. It's having to mix the fleets as I described above when trying to complete a weekly destination, such as needing a Jumbo to get to the destination and a Raven to get the nav unit. That's what slows things to a grind. Thankfully it's only the Jumbos that are like this (nav unit/Raven for weekly destinations, strobe/Owl for alliance destinations).

I save the friday bonus code fule drops, until I have enough to do a batch and get them that way. As you say, excavation flights are better, and the rewards are better. When I finish Hamburg I will have a Hawk S3, but I won't use it as I will have 3 starred all hawk flights!! I so prefer the ones that get buildings.

I will allow myself to disagree. I was easily doing 28 flights per one map with SuperFast livery + VW + one or two Catalyst during flight. I have also Condors S3 and those needed to be initially sped up by 30% after take off to make it before the map expires. The main problem was how to gather 840 units of fuel for the second run within 3 hours :).
EDIT: if you start your planes* with a JetPack but without a Vintage Weathervane, wait a few minutes and launch VW then your planes will be pushed through all 3 chevrons immediately, so you'll be able to fly 3 times on one map. If you combine this with a Spirit of Adventure, you'll be able to fly 6-7 times on one map :)
• the above applies to Superfast Condors

You are correct of course. However, that presumes one has 14 superfast liveries, etc. ;-) I could have worded my statement to qualify my setup. :)
