Tools have changed?

Ummm, is it just me being slow, but have you always been able to hold the mouse button down when selecting a building to raise it out of the ground then move or rotate it? So much better than going through the "arrow" menu.

Works on Android, too, when you tap & hold on the building you want to move. Just discovered that.

I'm not sure if it has always worked but it has done that for more than a year or so.
With this update they added the meter and the visible hole which makes it more obvious.
I move all my passenger buildings to collect them but don't recall when I actually realized
that trick. It does make my passenger collecting much less time consuming.

No, it was available. Even on android click and hold worked to move stuff around prior the update. No animation, no raising out of the ground. Just plain and simple moving or rotating.
