General Time Traveling on Vacation

I'm sorry if this question has been posted and answered somewhere already, but I'm getting a little worried about this. If I am going on a plane trip where I will be changing time zones, will I get accused of time traveling? How can this be avoided?

1) Turn off time updates and keep the phone at your original timezone
OR
2) Don't launch the game for at least X+1 hours before and after the change, where X is time difference you're traversing.

As Agent L said, if possible, turn off automatic time updates. I play on my tablet and keep the time zone my home time always.

If not, always make sure when you open the game it is later than the last time you were left. If you close the game at 2pm, make sure it is 2.01 or later when you open it again.
