Wow , with the new update, if you were at level 35, your experience level gets to reset to 0 (that's a zero, what a waste of all your previous experiences!) and you are up to another 26000 experience again to reach to the next level. Yes, new levels are up to 40 now with one new destination added at each level increase. So there are 5 new destinations: Seattle (level 36), Santiago (level 37), Montreal (level 38) and Vladivostok (level 39) and Cape Town (level 40).

Also with the new update, I got a new task, which says "Build an Opera Theatre", but the "Show me" button brings me to buy a History Museum, and there is no such a thing of Opera Theatre in the building or commerce list at all. Wonder if GI tested this at all . By the way, a new commerce building of Five-Star Hotel.

Isn't that the case for you? I have 149/26000 now showing for my experience with a level 35 on captain hat in front of it.

nope, i think i have a bug
my experience points dropped from 900.000 (rounded) to 559.964 with level 39

but wait i have 559.964/20.000

Never mind, what a pain! In the last 5 minutes, I got my level increased one level at each minute with a "Congratulations" pop up message and one green each time, so I am at Level 40 now with 5 more greens, and the my experiences got reset back to 53K, which I think was my experience number before the update.
