The latest upgrade removes gifts - How to revert back to the older version

I noticed this yesterday when I tried to downgrade to v1.31. Its either part of the glitch with the latest update or insight are trying to prevent people from downgrading!

I managed to get around it because I had saved game data from v1.35 - The only downside being I can only send items from the extended gift list to people that were on my friends list as of the 18th May.

Seems like GameInsight is closing in on users with the extended gift list...

But maybe editing the savegames could give you the same neighbours in the version 1.31 than you have now with the most recent version.
If you trying to do so, be cautious one little mistake takes your savegame to the beginning of the whole Airport City game!
