@ItsRalphy - how are things in your neck of the woods, good neighbour? Hope the weather is not a problem for you and your family. What's for Sunday lunch?

We Rollins also had a family BBQ in the garden on Sunday, pleased to hear from you.Hello my friend - things good here - we are on the edge of the red warning so hopefully only 39 degrees! hope you are ok?
daughter u from london and working from here for a few days as its a degree or two cooler, so slightly different menus. Todays was pizza's from a great local pizzeria, including a fantastic goats cheese and red onion one, plus haloumi fries. tomorrow would normally be a full roast, but we are BBQ instead. typical normal BBQ food, but thats what we like. Nice beer with the BBQ, and a Shiraz tonight.
True to true Northern Irish weather we only hit 25c (Some parts of northern Ireland got 30c) plus a heavy rain shower in the middle of the day.We are going totally cold food today - can't bear the oven on, the thermometer in our conservatory is reading 38 degrees! a new record for Yorkshire. So goats cheese and red onion quiche with a chicken and bacon pasta salad and some nice crusty bread - all prepared by someone else without turning any ovens on in our house! Got a nice red open to have with it (although suppose it should be a white really but whos checking hey)?
