GI will have to balance between attracting new players, retaining current players and keeping the seasoned players interested.

Repeat events are fine, but GI has been repeating too many events (in my opinion).

Repeating events is better than nothing. Sunshine bay hasn't had an event since Valentine's day
Since no space flight or adventure flights, that one is really boring
