Hey one thing that I find missing in this event is flight tab for the event. I found that to be very useful - you didn't have to scroll through the flights or mark any flights as favorites. I hope that comes back on the next update.

I finished the event but did not hit the complete button yet all the collection items no longer appear in any of the destinations. I was hoping to continue flying to collect a few more items for next year. Is that normally the way these events work?

Recently when you do all tasks for the event all event items stop dropping - both from buildings and from flights. So the only way to keep collecting items is not to fulfil all tasks - in the current event it means not to tap complete on some of the event collections.

If you have already collected 3 The Pioneer Trail and 3 Thanksgiving Day collection and additionally you have landed 30 guest planes I would bet that neither your flights nor neighbors' buildings will drop any of the event items. Anyway, if you have done your neighbors' visits today you may go to any neighbor and tap on a residential building - it will show which items it could drop. If you haven't visit neighbors today - after you visit five buildings at your first neighbor you can do the above check there.

But you didn't complete the event, did you? Because the rule applies to whom had completed, not to the others... I mean, if you haven't completed, buildings from neighbors will still drop items for you, either they have finished the event or not.

yes i didn't finish..but i thought that this was the question of @Capt.S ..if his neighbors could receive items even if he complete the event

I thought it was the other way round: if he could still receive items, after completing the event, but without tapping the completion button

In any case: I've completed the pioneers trail collections (3 of them) and I can still collect items for these collections by tapping neighbors' buildings - at least, items are still on the buildings' list.
However, I haven't completed all the collections - still missing a cranberry and a sweet potato

i just completed now the pioneer trail 3x but still looking for the thanksgiving day (got 1x) any suggestions which destination is good to fly (high drop rate)? i just fly with 3 jets always to los angeles but drop rate is very poor!

I flew 6 jets to LA with the spyglass active and completed the collection in 4 or 5 trips. I did get a couple of the items from the side quest beforehand but the bulk came from LA. I tried New York and was unsuccessful.

thanks for that info. it looks like the drops are very random from account to another one because i dont have that much drops from LA.. i will try new york or chicago. maybe there is the drop better for me! by the way i dont fly with spyglass!

One benefit of visiting only stone castles is so you can pickup crests for Spyglasses. I’ve got 1 already and a few other crests towards more

i visited stone castle's for two days, no crest drops and only one pioneer trail completed. today i had a look on villas and especially country houses, finished the other two pioneer trails with 6 neighbours visiting. i think its really random from account to account which one has the best drop rate!
