Thanksgiving Day Quest 2014

There are three parts to the quest:
1. Gather items from neighbors' residential buildings to collect The Pioneer Trail collection (3 times)
2. Acquire items from Thanksgiving Day collection to get a Thanksgiving Turkey (3 times)
3. Land guest planes to meet the guests (30 times)

The Pioneer Trail collection:
Millstone (drops from all neighbors' residences)
Cowboy Hat (drops from all neighbors' residences)
Flint and Steed (drops from all neighbors' residences)
Wagon Wheel (drops from all neighbors' residences)
Horseshoe (drops from all neighbors' residences)
Complete and you get a Settler's Wagon.

Thanksgiving Day collection:
Pumpkin Pie (drops from flights -- very seldom -- to Bali Island, Los Angeles, Singapore, New York, Chicago, Houston, Oslo)
Corn Cobs (drops from flights -- very seldom -- to Goa, Los Angeles, Rio, New York, Chicago, Houston, Oslo)
Cranberry Syrup (drops from flights -- very seldom -- to Turkish Coast, Los Angeles, Canary Islands, New York, Chicago, Houston, Oslo)
Sweet Potatoes (drops from flights -- very seldom -- to Cyprus, Los Angeles, London, New York, Chicago, Houston, Oslo)
Thanksgiving Cake (drops from flights -- seldom -- to Egypt and -- very seldom -- to Los Angeles, Rome, New York, Chicago, Houston, Oslo)
Complete and you get a Thanksgiving Turkey.

Complete the quest and you get a Totem Park!

If it is the first time... don't use all your neighbor visits directly after time resets.... It is jpjpjp999 first year and I now have to wait to visit specific giftshops at neighbors so have to wait until I get the next subquest....

I have one unique gift shop close to town hall next to a research lab if anyone needs it.

How does this specific gift shop looks like?

If you look at the coin buildings you can buy, it is half round, 1500 coins, between the travel agency and the bowling allee. You have to visit those at neighbors.

Thank you. I am playing the dutch version. In the quest window they give the building a different name. Now I know what I have to look for.

Is it so that you still have to purchase the land yourself if you want to make any use of that totem park?

If you don't have an open 3x3 space in your city, you will have to buy a land expansion. Unless, like many of us, there's no more land to buy.
