I’m not in a position where I feel comfortable day trading yet so I’ve mainly invested in ETFs for long term. I will hopefully get some time to look into various strategies over the holiday period and do some mock trading for practice.

@Dafsade how can you use the gap up strategy? The gaps usually form due to the market closing, so how do you get into a trade when the market is closed? Do you get into the deal before the previous close?

I use the gap at opening ! I look at the last close price, and if the opening price is lower, I buy ! and I sell just below the last close price !
Example : price at closing = 10.
Price at opening is 8. I buy at 8, and I sell at 9.

Oh you mean ticker "O". I have shares with them. Solid REIT to invest in. @Aerospatiale yes he is referring to a specific REIT

Today I traded and that was a great day !

I did 2,6% ! My capital is still 1800€, I traded Solution 30 and SpineGuard and I earned 47€ !
In one day I reached my goal of 2,5 week ! !

Just read up on it. Seems like buyers are forcing the momentum, and lots of short sellers have to be exiting their trades, which drives prices even higher

I’m in with ~£120, on the off chance it’ll hit a silly number. It sounds as if the shorts are under huge pressure. I’m sceptical, but I’ve not seen a situation like this before so it’s got my attention.

Yeah I usualy dont follow these trends. This short squeeze is driving up the prices, and there is no telling when it will come tumbling down. Too much volatility to my liking
