Does anyone have experience of using the Spirit of Adventure bonus?

I find the descriptive words confusing and don't really understand what they actually mean ("This bonus increases duration of all active flights that require a flight map 3 times")

What is the advantage of "increasing the duration of a flight? Presumably they mean increasing the duration of the map - but how do you do this the second and third time as the description suggests....?

Yes, and the wiki description was copied directly from the game.

Spirit of adventure extends the active duration of maps by 3x.

But make sure the maps you want to extend are ALL open before you use the bonus. Any opened after won’t be made longer.

It’s quite confusing, but simple too. You can use more than 1 map at once, and you can use more than 1 bonus in succession, but they don’t stack well.

Using red space maps, active for 17Hrs
1 map + 1 spirit of adventure = 51hrs
1 map + 2 spirit of adventure = 85 hrs

2 map + 1 spirit of adventure = 68hrs
2 map + 2 spirit of adventure = 102hrs

3 map + 1 spirit of adventure = 85hrs
3 map + 2 spirit of adventure = 119hrs.

So, it doesn’t matter how many maps you have active at the start, each spirit of adventure gives + 34hours only.

A painful mistake I experienced 😭😅

At first, I thought Spirit of Adventure was pointless, but it can be quite useful if you want to use maps without speeding up flights...assuming you have an ample supply of them. Add in the weathervane, a jet pack, and an S3 jet and you can really churn some flights out of each map over a decent period of time.
