A month or so ago they began deactivating codes shortly after the weekend was over. In that change they also deactivated old codes.

The weekend codes expire after the weekend ends. Just make sure you dont submit expired codes.

yep. I'm putting them in exactly as they are typed and nada. All that happens is the screen that you input the code in simply closes and I go back to my city as if nothing happened. When I look in my warehouse, nothing has changed.

To all players who had issues with the game and had to restart with new code (maybe it is working also for others who have new codes after last updates). Adding special codes from last 4-5 months will give you rewards. My game reseted recently and got new code - i added several special codes and all of them are working (matroshka, fog, moon, 5k, five, dino...) Of course all with * and 404 at the end.

These aren't "cheat" codes, they are the weekly bonus codes offered by GI. There was a very short lasting bug that allowed people to enter all the codes for previous weeks if they didn't have them yet, but that was well over a year ago. Now you can get the weekly code by looking at Airport City Announcements in this forum. You would add the code, including the asterisks, in the area where you would enter a friend code. This week's code is "geode02"

Go to the area you normally add a friend, instead of entering a friend code enter *geode02* including the asterisks
