General Silver coins - what to do?

I've completed launches, collected silver coins and purchased the 6 x Grand Hotels to increase population by 1,800. Now my silver coin (and gold) collection is starting to build up. What do you recommend I do with them? Just keep saving them?

Yes save them and wait for the CBM buildings (casino, Bank, Mint) offer these buildings give you greenies

@Allan Browne Remember that you also need gold tokens for CBM. Start accumulating those.

@pete blake There is no certainty at all. Some time ago, they were coming every year. Now it seem it's closer to a year and half.

Auto collect means that it'll collect from the buildings when they're ripe. It only works for a limited time and then you have to renew the contract so it's generally viewed as not worth the tokens. Also, it needs both gold and silver tokens, which are generally better spent on CBM to get greens.

Bottom line: unless you have more greens than you can spend, save tokens for CBM (mint, preferably)

These collect buildings contracts you buy it with gold and silver but each contract you have to pay with greenies so it will cost you a lot and it will not cover all the land city it just for limited area 5% around.
Just focus to buy the CBM buildings.

Is the following reasoning and calculation correct? Bank delivers 5 greenies for 21 days total 105 greenies. Casino delivers 3 greenies for 30 days total 90 greenies. Mint delivers 4 greenies for 42 days total 164 greenies. That's 359 greenies if I wait maybe 18 months for an event that might never come? I can buy that number of greenies in the cash sale every month for 25GBP.

So, back to the original question from @Allan Browne I'm not sure that's such a great use of my silver coins........... But what else to spend them on..................

They produce greens every few hours , my bank produces 4 every 3 hours for 42 days, I then restart it with 150 gold tokens and some silver ( can’t remember number) so they are well worth it. It’s all about getting regular gold tokens from launch’s

After a while everyone will get many thousands of silvers, they are pretty much surplus as there is nothing I think which just needs silvers other than grand hotel but it’s always worth keep getting them just in case GI one day come up with something else to get for just silvers.

It is worth after you buy the 13 hangars.
There is 2 slot free and then have to pay greenies for more slot.
For me i was thinking to buy it then change my mind to restart my casino and get greenies for my land this is worth more.

Mint delivers 4 greens every 3 hours for 42 days. That's (24/3)*4*42 = 1344 greens. Assuming you don't sleep, don't work, just launch AC every 3 hours : ). Bit more than half of that is reasonable to expect.

If you have enough tokens, you can ofc buy 6 of those. After 42 days run out, you can restart it with 25% discount. So, as long as you can keep gold tokens flowing, the greens will keep coming in a wide stream. People having more greens than they can spend are the reason Oil Refinery 3 costs 2000 greens. : )


I believe that for 25GBP we're talking about 60 greens, with 3x offer that's 180.

The numbers have been crunched very carefully and the extra reserve hangar is not worth buying until you have every slot open in your normal reserve hangar. Ie the gold better to buy and renew C/B/M for greens to open all the slots in the original reserve hangar.

And forget about the silver. Apart from Grand Hotels, they are just a tease. You will always have 100x more silver than the required amount of gold to do anything constructive.

Nothing really easy about getting gold tokens. Due to the prevalence of cheaters, getting gold in rankings is near impossible. You can do adventure flights, and get a bronze chest with (I think) 1 gold token for each completed collection. Or you can do LOTS of red launches in 1st, 2nd or 3rd place and get items for Water World Collection, and receive a gold chest for each completed collection. The gold chest has 3 gold tokens in it, plus various other items. There's probably other ways, but I have found these 2 to be the most efficient.

Every place group except last one has chance of Water World items. But certainly the higher the better.
