Sorry if this has been asked before, if so, you can send a slap my way and point me in the right direction.

With the ability of what you can send changing daily and/or person by person, how do you all figure out what you can send when building your signatures?

If you look in the game at the bottom of the screen is the wrapped parcel. click it and then the outgoing tab. These are the items you can send. Up to 20 a day. The incoming tab is items you've received. If it says 'send in return' it is a gift you have received and you can return it. With no writting it is a gift that has been returned by a person you sent a gift to.

Ive just joined and not sure if how this exactly works. Many people are talking about SIGNATURES but what are they and how do i send items to them apart from adding their id in the game?

In this forum you can click on your name in the upper right hand corner. You have a drop down box and one of them is your signature. In your signature you can put your in-game user name, your friend id, your level, # of stars, reputation level.. so forth
You then tell us all what you need and your entire list of what you can send. Makes everything easier. Look at mine for example

The only way to send items back and forth is in game. You need to add friends id, hope they accept, and then hope you become one of their top 20....LOL. best way is if they add you....make sure you send them a gift.

The items you can send usually don't change unless you update the game. Then new items (for new quest) can be added and some items deleted. After I update the game, I check the items I can send and update my signature as required.

Now the items that can be received are very dependent on the gaming platform (android, crap-ple, etc).

I apparently did a horrible job asking my question.

My devices seems to change what they can give from person to person, day to day, power down to power down. How do you all that post what you can gift keep up with your signature lists?

Does that make sense to anyone else?

Android game does not do this (AFAIK) It is a "feature" on many Apple devices.

If you are correct and I correctly understand you, then there are times where this is a good thing - Apple folks aren't "locked" in and they can gift to others in order to get the correct items for others.

Yes, may be It is unknown what actually will be received, when you press ""send" button. Frankly I cannot understand how it is possible to write the code in such manner.....

I remember a while ago a member did an experiment on the Ipad. It is also generally assumed that you do not send an item , but send a position in the gift list.
At the moment I can send you a fuel 3 which is item 1 in my list. you will probably receive the 1st item in your list.
Today my gifting order is: Fuel (3), Bright Lantern, Goal Posts, Air Conditioner, Chocolate Candies, Cockpit Glass, Welder, Landing Lamp, Radar,Handling Line, All-Inc Bracelet, Passengers 10, Powerful Radio, Flight Helmet, Cognac, Fuel Supply, Jet engine, stapler, fuel additives, power source, additional radar, make up, amperemeter, spare wire, laser cutter, landing gear, flt catering,beacon, nav module, archive box, fuel hose, gyroscope, spare propeller, deicer and air filter. Last week it still had Santa items, even though I finished Santa before Christmas.

There are many variable in the lists depending on your game level, game level you are sending to, game system and version, and probably a few others as well.
