iOS save progress iPad mini

So disappointed with GI. I have been having the problem with my iOS airport not saving my game progress. I have tried visiting Madlen and have played the game closing all other apps but not having any success. I sent a ticket to GI but the response I received was my iPad mini was too old to handle all the new updates. My only recourse is to spend lots of money to purchase a new iPad mini. It looks like my iOS airport is about to close due to needing too many upgrades.

Before I do delete it, is any one else having this issue on the iPad mini? And if so we're you able to get it fixed.

I had similar issue some time ago on win phone - with gi I restarted the game on same phone and they swnd me backup. Consult with GI if it will be manageable to retrieve your current game after restart. Other option is transfer to new device - any platform should work

GI did say they could save my progress and then send it to a new iPad. Problem I have is I can't afford to buy a new iPad to transfer the game over. As much as I wish I could...

Then maybe transfer to your phone or even PC or something (just trying to offer a solution). As I mentioned before I have old phone (4 y now) and he is working almost the same as on day 1. Only issue is memory which is causing problem with gameplay but for now I'm not considering changing the phone just to play this game.

If they can save the game, then a total re-install of the IOS system may work. I have a 5 year old iPad3 that can run the game.

Thanks for the info. Not too Tech savvy here how would I do an iOS reinstall?

Not hard, you need itunes and your computer to ensure you're backed up.
a guide is here also google on factory reset. Back ups are important, you can back up to iCloud and through iTunes. Maybe a request to GI support to check for the game side to ensure you can get back to where you are.
