Haha well it always seems to work out that way but there is not secret trick. At least this event is a longer one so all I can say is just keep add it and dont give up.

Persistence is the only way to go. Use small planes like owls and ravens, owls are roughly the same amount of time on returning as removal facilities, regenerate. Use the 4 hour setting resupply of fuel. And smaller houses regenerate people faster
