Are spending the tokens for S planes worth it?

Only if you have cbm or spend $$ on greens - they cost greens to repair. The speed is nice, but ancient weathervane, fuel catalyst or jet pack do the job just as well. The few S3's I got from alliance maps flights I ended up selling. Just my opinion.

S1, definitely not. There’s an argument to be made for the Jumbos and Giants in S2 as they knock significant time off, but for shorter flights, the planes are in the repair shop after an average of five flights. If you lose them for 12hr repair after every five trips but only save five hours flying time...the maths doesn’t add up.

S3...same as S2, but incorporates Delta+ for me.

If they changed it so S-planes took the repair items then I can see S2/S3 being worth it.

I had a s2 jet and turboprop...I've sold both of em.

Though the jumbos I love, I send the speed boosted ones to cities and the regular ones to excavations.

I have S3 turboprops and I’ve kept those. I might get a couple PPDs at some point but not sure I’ll get any for the larger planes because of the repair time.

There are better things to spend gold tokens on
