I think if everyone understands that their first choice may not be available, then it will be just fine. I may just simply delegate every request to the highest available by default.

@Dodo you are absolutely right that splitting 8th, 9th, and 10th with 48 points each will get us enough to launch. The issue with that points spread is that there arent usually that many people who sign up, and usually one always ends up absent. The points spread is based on only 8 participants required, but if I can always have 10 participants, then I will have the 48 point split as suggested.
