Good effort guys.:notworthy:
For various reasons I have been off line for the game 23 hours a day so I could not participate.
I will see if December 14 whether I will have a go for at least 1 launch, I will have to take into consideration time zones etc.

How to Run a Quantum Leap Adventure
For those forum members who want to run a Quantum Leap Adventure, here are some guidelines I gleaned from the first one:
1. Make sure you have enough fuel -- attempting nine launches in 24 hours requires a lot of fuel (particularly Powerful Explosive Bolts and Main Stabilizers), especially if you plan on earning first place in one or more launches
2. Get at least two other neighbors to launch with you -- the more participants, the less fuel you have to spend
3. Plan a schedule and stick to it -- we had our first launch at 7 AM and following launches at three-hour intervals (10 AM / 1 PM / 4 PM / 7 PM / 10 PM / 1 AM / 4 AM / before 7 AM)
4. Make sure each launch attempt launches within 20 minutes or so; otherwise you won't get nine launches within the 24 hour time frame
5. Use your Quantum Leap bonus right before starting the first launch -- since the bonus lasts for 24 hours, the last launch must be within the 24 hour time frame (and if you forget to use the bonus and you launch, you're out of luck)
6. Plan ahead of time who is leading/starting each launch and who will take first place for each launch (in our first Quantum Leap Adventure, Bali2, Suresh and Waverly huff each took first place three times); remember that participants must be neighbors with the person starting each launch
7. Start a Conversation before the first launch with all participants to make sure everyone is clear about what is happening
Please feel free to add your own advice to this post!
Cheers,
Tom

Happy Helen and Chad Ladwig,
Since Bali Hi and his Bali2 game will likely be leading the launches, make sure you are neighbors before Saturday. PM him for his neighbor code if you aren't neighbors already. You can't join a launch if you aren't neighbors with the person leading the launch.
Cheers,
Tom

Bali Hi would like to join a Quantum Leap launch group (soon).

However, Bali Hi have yet to upgrade to latest Android version because some people that upgraded lost some items in the warehouse! I expect GI to release a Halloween version very soon?

Meantime, I am collecting items for Bali2 to complete a Quantum Leap.

Hello Bali, I was trying to send you an invite to become neighbors so I can get in on the Blue Launch on Saturday. When I type you invite code I get an error. I am on Android, could you please send me an invite and try it that way. My code is apzls4m. Thank You-Chad

Hello Tom, for some odd reason every time I send Bali a neighbor invite I get a error. I sent a message to invite me and will see if that works. Chad

Hi Tom,
I do not have a QL but will join a launch.
Happy to put in for a first place reducing the amount of items you need for the festival of launches if there is a spot available.
When you give times are the Universal Time, what used to be called Greenwich Meridian Time or is it some other time zone?

I might be up for this as well (if I finish the xmas shopping) but can't do the math cross referencing time zone to GMT. Tom are the times CET?

Blackcloud and Pakman,
I haven't double-checked with Bali Hi but my suggestion is that we proceed like the first Quantum Leap Adventure with the first launch at 7 AM California Time GMT-8. Second at 10 AM GMT-8. Third at 1 PM GMT-8 and so on. The last launch is at approximately 6:45 AM GMT-8 on Sunday morning so we can get nine launches in within the 24 hour time limit assuming everyone "uses" their Quantum Leap bonus at 7 AM GMT-8 on Saturday (right before the first launch). Each launch must go no longer than 20 minutes to stay on schedule.
Will post again tomorrow with a "final" list of adventurers to figure out who wants the first place finish for each launch.
Cheers,
Tom

Hi Chad,

I have added you from both BaliHi & Bali2.
Please accept.

Hi Blackcloud,

The first launch is Saturday 7 am California time (GMT-8), 10 pm my time (GMT+7), probably after midnite your time. But you have 24 hours to hitch a ride.

We can always assign a spot for you to take #1 spot.

greensmith Bali Hi No I still don't have QL so will not be joining you all in this weeks adventure :(

Actually i really don't have time to even try to fly to 2 destinations to get some missing items for my 2nd QL (personal Vs professional work too much at the moment).

All the very best to the group to have another round of global co-ordination and adventure (y) Have fun :D
