I had to reinstall Windows 10 on my 4 PCs due to a conflict/bug. I lost my game and 3 supports so awaiting support from G.I
Hope it won't be too long, sorry to my neighbours and alliance.

i never lost my game when reinstalling windows, what program did u use?

I used a usb drive with the windows tool on it.
I had to start over, still working on reinstalling all my software. What a pain!

No, think it's called windows data recovery tool. It also allows you to reinstall windows or fix problems, which it didn't.
I have a fairly complex PC system using 5 separate computers I use for work that are all communicating with each other over LAN, as well as other programs I use for media production.
Suffice to say, I got a bug-conflict and was forced to start over with Windows 10. I actually do this every two years or so.

I have always contacted ms support, they were able to reinstall windows without messing with personal files, ie airport city

You should be able to reinstall over top to maintain prior configuration but this isn't always possible or recommended depending upon the reason for crash.

I recommend an imaging backup solution like ghost to protect and easier restore for future.

I experienced a summary after that: Be patient with GI reply, and don't have your own chaotic operation.

MAIN GAME RESTORED!!!
I have so many gifts to return it will take a few days to clear them all.
Still waiting for 3 more PCs to be restored, hope this happens soon.

On 24 December, I opened the game on ipad to find all my neighbours had disappeared and a message saying I had been kicked from the alliance. The latter wasn’t true as I was still in the alliance but when other members tried to visit my airport, got the message my game needed updating. I had, using the code, linked my game to my android phone..it was the same - no neighbours and alliance issue.
I've managed to play the game daily since then although when others search for me it says my game is zzzzz….a couple of days ago, my game screen went black for a few minutes and I hoped it was some sort of fix but obviously not.
I’ve messaged in game support and emailed Gi..apart from asking whether I’d linked both games, no other response forthcoming..all I really want to do is be able to connect with the alliance..the neighbours issue can be sorted gradually.
Is it worth hanging on or do I just go ahead and delete the game?

I would email G.I. again, it took me 10 days nearly to get my games restored. Considering it's New years it may take a few more days.
