It seems that Windows users will miss the "Riding the Comet" event. GI has advised me, there will be a BIG compensation for every affected player. Additional details will be forthcoming. I will be very interesting to find out what Game Insight considers BIG compensation. I doubt very much it will be as big as what I have in mind for compensating Windows players, for this very poor showing.

At least every plattform has different Game-Ids starting with, that would be the easiest way (03x iOS, 04x Android, 20x Windows, 27x Galaxy Store, don‘t know what Amazon Kindle has). Or they have some kind of internal identifier we don‘t see, so that shouldn‘t be the problem.

Apart from missing the event windows players were not able to visit their neighbours which meant the game progress was also effected. I hope they take this into account with their BIG compensation.

They wont. Visiting neighbors isn't considered essential. If they couldn't fly their aircraft or visit their own buildings, that would be more of an issue

I do not want to be a devil's advocate, but based on previous experience big compensation will be maximum space base building, meteorite research center and few greenies. I wish you all get 3 platinum chests each and 100+greenies, but I would be shocked if that is the case. Like always with GI, expect nothing and you will not be disappointed at the end of the day.

We will see. But I will say this much. The visits are important even without an event. It is how I get a good sizeable amount of fuel reserves. A lot of people here probably feel the same way if you at threads about planatariums.

One thing was stressed early on in alliances here was having a space program. And with my current alliance, I want to stress the program to lower level members to help them. Many steps for this event really are the steps involved for getting launch prep even without the event. I tend to stress visiting Planetariums and Training Centers.

Visiting IS vital when your game is still small. My # of visits allowed has not been able to increase. I am also stuck with only 8 gifts to give, until they fix this. Also, it is sometimes a daily task. With no commercials available I cannot change it, so miss out on my workaholic award. I wish they would consider the player's point of view. After all, we ARE the customer!

The big compensation should be all event rewards (with premium pass) + 20 greenies + 3 platinum chests + almost 150 space items to properly compensate the lake of this event.

Going on 7 years in this game and don't rightly see these GI mates doing much in the way of compensations, least of all now.
Everything now is nickel and dime costs, ie.' in game cash, which BTW cost real cash, which converts into revenue.

The only free entertainment anymore is a stroll thru the park, or on the beach, tho even there, mankind has found ways to charge for what God has created.
So yes I too am a PC player but I have to agree that if you expect little from others, well then you will be less disappointed if they give you nothing
