The recent update replaced the Fuel (20) gift with the Passengers (10) gift (and vice versa). Here's my reasoning why this should be changed back.
Many of us have what we call "support" games that we created to gift Fuel (20) to our main game. It's a tedious process because you have to wait until a new game is at level 20 before you're certain the Fuel (20) gift will remain. It may or may not stay at level 10 but will definitely stay at level 20. I created four support games for Waverly huff on my iPhone 6+, my iPad Air, my iPad 3 and a Samsung Tab 8. Those games gifted me and 19 of my neighbors Fuel (20) every day. Since fuel is the bottleneck in advancing through Airport City, these support games were very important.
Now, all of a sudden, those four games gift Passengers (10) instead of Fuel (20). Passengers (10) is pretty useless as a gift, especially for us veteran players who have a very high population max. My current thought is to give up on those support games because they no longer serve the purpose for which they were established.
Did GI make this switch on purpose because they know fuel is the game's bottleneck and they want us to use bank notes to buy more? Honestly, I can think of no other reason for this change.
Cheers,
Tom
