Which type of plane is suitable for flying the alliance mission? I don't want to spend the whole week at 3 destinations.

The first task is based on your cheapest plane.
The second task is based on your most expensive plane.
The third task is the plane you have most of. Where you have an equal number, it will default to the more expensive one.

Lower level planes are easiest. Tasks get a lot more difficult as you level up though.
