Hi everyone,

I did a set of Red Launches the other day trying to get a particular map I wanted - Beverly Hills. Someone said that rather than opening up each "Edge of Tomorrow" collection (which contains a single map) as I get them to instead wait until I get a bunch and then open them.

What is the reason for this? My *guess* is that if I open them as I get them then I will get a random map. If I open 5 in a row, perhaps it looks at what the previous ones were and it weighs getting something different the next time? Or is it something else?

Thanks in advance :)

I doubt it makes any difference. However as you progress to all six Lunar Parks you will probably only need specific maps, so then it is best to open them as soon as, so that you don't end up collecting more maps than you need.

Having said that, the maps will become a by-product of Red Launches and the rewards of the Water World collection become the priority. (Gold Coins !!)
After 4+years I have 100 of each map ;)

I am guessing it was someone making a joke :)

If you open up one chest, you have a 1/5 chance of getting the map you want. If you open up 50 chests, you pretty much have a 100% chance of getting the one you want out the 50 :)

But as @Chloe11111 said, lighting a candle and sacrificing some fried chicken couldn't hurt either ;)

Thanks @Chloe11111 and @Jenn B. Will sacrificing a nice bottle of white work too? OK not a full bottle (I can't handle that much) however it would seem to me that a glass or two can't hurt my chances at all, right?😂

As a scientist, I say that is a hypothesis worth testing.... repeatedly 😂

I was thinking champagne or red. But I supposed white could work.

Incidentally, I went through 3 bottles of prosecco and a bottle of white with my friend and my daughter on the weekend. :)

You ladies are my heroes!

Well, originally I was going to order out for sushi, but then my SO wanted steak for dinner (guess who had to cook it) and wouldn't mashed potatoes go good with that dear (and guess who made that too, and clean up afterwards, etc.). Well, you know how it goes. 🤦‍♀️

Next time I put my foot down: white with my sushi like I wanted in the first place. 😋

Nope, I don't know how that goes. My husband does ALL of the cooking. Funny how things go when you (deliberately) put salt in rice early in your relationship ;)

Well, I’d just be given a ham sandwich. Tried everything, no, he can’t and won’t cook. Ironically loves to eat! Give me a glass of white. Red makes me fall asleep. 😂
My husband is an awesome and adventurous cook (probably why my daughter is a chef). I especially love when he makes eggs benedict for me.
