No word on the reward yet. Since I've already three-starred the five quest destinations, I will try to complete the quest as soon as possible. May be difficult because of the flower drop rate.

I did finished the quest already. But need to get 3rd star from Jumbo first, now 22/60 flights.
Hope i can manage them in a week.

It's not the Flower Shop. It's the flower patches outside your city indicated by the ! Exclamation point. You need Pruning Shears to cut them. See the previous guide here:

Good catch! I did not understand what Chad meant until I read your reply.

So, is it true that this year, players can only get shears by visiting neighbours?
It will take forever to do the task.

I had them around 50 from last year. Finished quest, but no completed yet.

I needed two flowers to complete and had around 60 shears, it took 4 clicks to get them so it looks like drop rates are good once you have the shears. Now just flying deltas and jumbos to get the third star.

Had a golden dice activated for flights to Vienna, and got three roses in four taps, and my bridal salon dropped the only candy piece I was missing. Not completed yet and there is also the warehouse to store some of the quest buildings too.

I am sure it is random (or at least as random as coding allows) but this is what I found today:

Drop rate for pruning shears from friend visits 36% (22 from 60) but possible skewed up a bit as I did get one max of 5 from a single visit (I never saw that before in any quest)
But then drop rate for flowers using pruning shears in own airport 9% (2 from 22)

Luckily I only needed three more flowers to complete (part done last year) and one of the two dropped today helped, otherwise I think it could be difficult to complete this from a standing start.

On a more positive side, landing guest planes got more interesting.

Yes they do and after last year's event ended they dropped standard passengers at the same rate as romantic ones (i.e. better than standard buildings) but I believe this was not the case in the previous year.

Are the merry-go-rounds supposed to drop romantic passengers? It shows romantic passengers in the inventory screen on the warehouse, but mine seem to drop regular passengers once they are placed in the airport?

Same for me (on Android), must be a glitch.
