Android No game function afte visiting neighbours

I have not seen this reported and it has only occured in the last 12 hours.
After visiting neighbours and pressing the "Home" button not the "Neighbours/Society" button.
My game returns to my airport, without any function buttons or building ballons showing. I cannot exit the game I have to go to my phone home screen and force shutdown AC through the manage Apps function.

I experienced this last night. I had to force stop the game a few times because all the buttons disappeared after visiting a neighbor. Then I just used the neighbor button instead of home while visiting. After all my visiting was done, I force stopped again. I prefer using the home button because neighbor button makes me go back to the top of the list and scroll all the way down again.

I am not sure if this is going to be the same case again when I do my visiting tonight. Weird, something came up and there's not even an update. What could have triggered it?

I agree it is only an issue when you visit neighbours, I do it in a batch.
It really is strange that this has all of a sudden appeared.
On the brighter side the drop rate from my flights to Avaricum has remarkably improved 3 items from 11 flights.

diwata and Blackcloud I have same problem. So i'm using same method as you, but when i back to my airport, no game functions.
I am on latest version (1.99.03)...

I have the same problem directly after installing update with The Land of Opportunity quest :/

This just happened to me today, after I completed the Land of Opportunity collection and built the White House.

Did you guys had this problem before you completed the quest?

Same here since yesterday on my phone v.1.99.03, but on my tablet there is no problem when returning (v.1.99.04).

Both Bali Hi & Bali2 are running on tablets with 199.04.

The problem only happens with Bali Hi on a Nexus 7 (same as Diwata).
No problem yet with Bali2 on a Samsung Tab still running on Honeycomb...

Oh yes, I have it way before I completed the Land of Opportunity, since July 9. I already reported it to GI 4 days ago but I only have receipt of complaint email so far.

My ticket is still open with no update.
I hope more people open tickets so this issue can be escalated as it is so annoying.

I just got this bug yesterday, it seems everybody else got this much earlier, so it appears completely random, am on the Voyage quest now. Did anybody get a solution from GI? Or are you still having this issue? It seems when I returned to my airport and do the force close and open the game again, the items I received from neighbors during the visit are not there. So visiting neighbors are really useless now since I cannot get anything from any neighbor. Also since this started yesterday, I cannot see anybody visited my airport anymore.

Long - I have it still in my game, but all the items which I found in my neigbours I have in my stock.

Long most of us got this bug after updating to the vovage mission....its annoying that every time there is an update....there has to be some major bug linked to it

Thanks for your replies! I see this thread started in early July, so that was way before the most recent 1.99.06 update, but I just got it since yesterday. Not sure what triggered it. I will open another ticket against GI and see what they say.

All I got was a message to make sure I have the latest update.
I did not keep the update, backed out of it as I have already completed the quest.
So I cannot have GI progress this bug for me.

The ticket I opened spcifically for this bug is still pending to be assigned. I did add this bug to another ticket I opened earlier in general for the last update, and they acknowledged the issue and said they are working "none stop" to correct this, and closed the ticket. Same copy and paste answers. So hope this will be fixed with next update. What I do now to avoid a force close is to visit all neighbors without returning to my own game, and when I reach the last neighbor, I exit the game from that neighbor's airport, and then open the game later.

Same bug hit me yesterday , plus no 5 coins and 2 passengers after neighbors visit my airport

This problem started last week for me . It started progressively, and now every time I return from visiting neighbors, the function buttons are gone.
Long did you get some explaantions from your ticket?
