My game (see sig) has succesfully been transferred to another platform.
GI blocked the old one by policy. That's why your visits get prompted with the block pop-up.
A platform transfer has a downside: losing all neighbours.

If you want to come over and visit again, find me in the alliance ranking. Look for All New Tadashi, usually somewhere in the top 20, visit and send request.

I'm not picky but if you really want to make sure, a PM or a tag helps!

Well, if you ask GI to transfer a game from one device to another, once the new copy is up and running, GI blocks the old game so that you cannot have 2 copies of the same game working in parallel. If they wouldn't do it, then I could create multiple clones of my game in a "legal" way

You forgot to mention that the game will be blocked only if the game will be transferred to a different platform not device.
