Guess it's time to save up some coins

Yes, it's coming along with new levels, collections
Save up the collection as this time, a lot of experience is needed to Level up, Level 61 needs 100k XP and so on

I know I'm in the minority, but it should be harder to level up. Now G! has time to look at bugs and really think about new levels without us barking about how long we have to wait because we are leveled out.

I agree. I feel that my level doesn't correspond to my game at all. There are bunch of quests waiting for me, there are guest Falcons waiting to land - but my real status in game is just handful of jets. I could do with level 30 just as well.

I think they're "encouraging" you to buy coins so you can complete quests.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of the major updates. With every one comes tons of bugs that takes months to work out. We can't visit neighbors, we can't gift neighbors cross platform, game freezes, etc, etc. Support makes out like there is no issue and are very non-supportive. And many neighbors get discouraged and quit altogether.

I still have tons of flying to do to most of the adventure destinations and falcon destinations to 3-star. I would rather G! phase in the updates, 1st - give us the new fuel generator, 2nd - the plane and destinations, 3rd - a mars mission, ...

Just my opinion.

I don't think we will see the mission to Mars this year I believe it will be next year at the earliest, it's a shame Ivan doesn't post on here giving updates on the mission to Mars or maybe a teaser of drawings showing what mission to Mars could look like.

I think the fact that they couldn't accomplish all they promised has probably put them off doing it again. Can't see a reason 'slingshot to mars' (my name, called it) can't come sooner, land expansion once seemed an unlikely thing.

I found larger aircraft piling up long before I upgraded - in fact I still haven't moved to anything that needs anything more than runway level 4 - however I replaced one of my level 4 runways with a level 5 - it can still be used by my L4 aircraft and I am able to now land all the jumbos etc. that they send me - although it cost me 100K it has proved a more than worthwhile benefit in terms of Coins, Experience as well as a few more drops. I would go as far as to say that upgrading the runway is worth more than upgrading aircraft. I find now that I can level up and/or accumulate 50K coins in a few days by leaving Airport city open on my second screen for a while and just landing every aircraft that I can, while getting on with other things. I jumped back in horror at the idea of saving up 100,000 to get the runway whereas now my thinking is "xxx only costs 200,000 - I can easily get that by the end of the week". I have also stopped upgrading my town halls and instead been investing in space flights - will soon have my red launch pad (took me just a couple of weeks to collect the 600,000 coins I needed for the MCC and Launch pad ( a little longer for the items needed!) So far I have almost 100 silver tokens from a few 1st place Green and Blue launches - 300 silver tokens will buy me a Grand Hotel which will increase my population by 300 (3x what my next town hall upgrade would give!) Looking around the more successful players nearly always reveals Red Launch pads and several Grand Hotels - Space flights are more fun too I think and being collaborative they help to build up friendships on here - as in real life the only thing you get from expanding town halls is more bills!
Also I don't bother considering all the quests ( I have a long list of them which I rarely read and seldom let them influence where I fly to. They get completed gradually over time without any effort and are often a nice surprise when they pop up some coins and experience not to mention the odd useful building

@gbswales Yeah, my thoughts exactly. At least event quest pop up at the top, so they're not hidden by huge stack of old stuff.
I'm saving tokens for mint/casino/bank - whatever I could afford.

They come around during the summer from what I have been told, there are 3 buildings to produce greens, Casino, Mint and Bank. Mint is the best deal, followed by Casino then Bank last.

You need to get gold tokens via Completing Adventure maps collections, Top Alliance rankings and Top 100 rankings and by Completing the Water World Collection from Red launches. Red Launches are by far the easiest way to acquire Gold Tokens.

If you look at the stats and the costs then it's a no brainer if you can afford the 200 golds, Below is a rough guide but even with 7-10hours sleep these would be the type of figures

Casino - 270 Greens / 540 Greens (if you buy 2 - which costs the same in Gold tokens as a Bank/Mint)
Bank - 420 Greens
Mint - 1008 Greens

If you do enough of other launches then you will have plenty of Silver tokens, so only really the Golds that you need to worry about. The figures above aren't maximums, you could get more if you set your alarm religiously to collect from them.

Yeah you do, even with the last place position box. There are 5 levels, you get 20-15-10-5-5 silver tokens. So if you do a lot of red launches you can save up the 300 silvers no bother.

I was surprised at how fast the silver tokens added up. Got my first Grand Hotel - now working toward my second one.
