Hi everybody, one more to the list. My game works but it is impossible to save the progress.
Everytime the games try to save it crashes.

Yesterday I've sent to GI this message:
" I'm sorry, but I don't know what is the "wish list". If that list it's in the game, I can't open my game since several days ago, when I try open it only appears a black screen with the Airportcity logo in the upper left corner and then appears a stop force message."
Today GI has sent me another joke:
" Thank you for sending me the information necessary to conduct a careful investigation into the matter. Our dedicated team of engineers is focused on detecting the root of the issue and eliminating it as soon as possible. However, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that it will require us some time to introduce proper changes to the upcoming game versions.
To avoid bothering you with system notifications asking you to update the request before the new version is released I have to change the ticket status to "solved" but feel free to open the ticket should you have additional questions or create a follow-up so I could get back to you shortly and assist you the best way I can.
As it is in our best interest to make the game run smoothly and let you enjoy the game process I would like to ask you to cooperate with our Support Team and let me know of the state of the issue when a new game version is released and you update the application. Your patience and support are highly appreciated!

joining the club.. although i am still able to play. was able to get 1 star each new destination.. close to getting the second for tunguska.. haven't tried area 51 yet.. this mission would have been great without the bugs..

drops from ufo debris of neighbors have also gone downhill. arrrrgh!! i got around 20 geiger counters per day at the start of the mission. now, even that GI has taken away too.. most i got was 8..

Thankfully I also managed to get a few stars before my game died: one for bermuda, tunguska, and area 51, was usually get between 0 & 2 geigers from neighbor visits, the bigger problem was getting the third item to drop from debris on your own land (the debris you use the geiger counter on). Don't think I was too far off completing the side mission (was on the one where you have to visit 10 movie theaters, book stores and seafood restaurants) either which is a shame as on a previous update I remember completing the side mission for the santa challenge seemed to fix the game, was hoping it might do the same!

Also, just read something really funny on the play store "what's new" section for the latest airport city update: "- Technical Improvements". HA

Uh oh, think my game has reset to some point in the past.... just got a notification on my phone saying "New event! Contact an extraterrestrial civilization now to receive a unique prize!" Anyone opened their game after receiving this notification? (Other than when the mission actually started obviously)

Not sure how it's done. I think you have to know how to root your device and save before you updated and load it up again? Not sure. I don't know any of that.

My cooperation with the Support Team?

They just copy and paste their answers. It's the same response they send to me and everyone else. I sure wish I am a fly on the wall in that AC team room. I'd like to know how they approach their updates, releases and bugs.

- Reboot the device.
- Open the game with a stable internet connection.

So, tried to perform the following actions, and voila - the game worked! Till i visited first neigbour, after returning back the game crash again, now it is not starting anymore.
So, same unplayable game....

Sent back the reply, because i assume the game is still not working properly

I am afraid this is not the solution. I have many backups and usually make a backup before every update. I have tried to roll back to the previous version and made some "tricks" to try to make the program use the most recent data, that is, to use the last progress files. But it is crashing, as I mostly expected. There is some kind of checksum for the data files (they call it "anticheat" files), which I suspected to be damaged when the program crashed for the first time. Therefore, the progress files after crashing are corrupt and can not be used anymore (the checksum does not match). I even tried to use the files with an old version of the program not including this checksum mechanism and it also failed to start. In some previous versions, doing this kind of tests worked (although the new buildings and progress associated to newest features did not appear till the proper version were installed). So, the bad news is that I think they are not going to be able to recover the game state from those files, as, according to the previous reasonig, the files are corrupt, not the checksum.

Therefore, I only forecast two solutions: to restore from a backup or to recover the state from GI servers, if possible.

Hope to be wrong .. ;-)

I received the message but my game is still going strong.

It could be because my account was reset at GI or the through wipe and reloading of my phone before reinstalling the game becuase of other issues.

I have rolled back to a previous version 1.93, could not use the progress files from this version 1.95, but the game worked fine on 1.93. I did 2 Aztec missions then decided to do the UFO mission again. Currently works in a limited fashion, game will crsah when I return from visiting neighbours, but other functions are slow but workable.

Thx for the info , i was thinking about rolling back to the version 1.93.
For me the anti cheating should be renamed to anti game, due to the fact that since the first day the game is crashing.
I would like to rollback and update again. Did u try to do this?
